Thank you for the company.

April 24th, 2011 by sixpegs

I have been all over the place.
Within my virtual disappearance for almost 2 weeks, I have met some really wonderful and fun new people.
And also fostered better relationships with people who are already in my life.
Attended a couple company events and things are really nice with my colleagues. :)
There were also three Puma parties at Butterfactory, MBS and Old School respectively.
My office has also been officially relocated to Jurong from Buona Vista.

Alright, enough talking. Pictures time ok? :)
That’s us at the Puma Butterfactory Party!

FHM

March 26th, 2011 by sixpegs

I popped by the FHM 150th Anniversary party at Bar On 5 earlier this week.
What comes to your mind when I say “150th FHM Anniversary Party”?
I know – it must be HOT BABES, HUGE PARTY, SHITLOAD OF DRINKS SERVED BY SCANTILY CLAD CHICKS.
Well, there were none of the above at the party.

It was kinda like a quiet affair but thank God there was champagne.
The company I had was awesome. So I had some good quality fun.

I think I look more iron than the Ironman.
Mister Ironman also spilt some acid at his groin area – as you can see, the iron there is starting to corrode.
Whitish and stuff. Eeeeyerrr.
There was also Spiderboy and Wolverine.
I’m certain it wasn’t Spiderman because that Spidey was shorter than me.
I asked him why he’s so short. He said he didn’t drink enough milk.
Hahahahaha!!
Wolverine.. erm.. was Asian. Fail.

Here are the other more awesome people at the party. Hahaha!

The picture above shows me and Petrina.
Do you know that Petrina’s elder brother Colin’s band’s first album is now on sale at HMV and Gramophone?
Go grab King Kong Jane’s album! <3

We also made Ai Jia take part on this “sit on balloons and burst them” game
and she won herself a pair of funky headphones! :D
Basically, the night was just spent with us standing around sipping champagnes.
Here’s more pictures.

Under the influence of alcohol, we got ridiculously noisy and rowdy.
And… we started whoring ourselves by attempting to pose like the FHM cover girls. :x

And I don’t know what Farhan was up to in here…

Then this guy came along and he wants to bring the posters home.
So I told him he needed to pose for me before he’s allowed to bring it home. And he did!
Hahahaha. So game right!

And this random woman also. But she don’t know how to differentiate left and right.

I obviously did a better job lor. Hahaha!

Jason tried too. But he’s too man for this bullshit.

“I think I can’t do this guys…”

But the winning picture is definitely the one by… PETRINA!

ROAR!

This is your Thursday visual orgasm. Kindly prepare your own bib.

I got absolutely no idea how or when this party streak started.
But this couple weeks has been totally fun to the brim for me – party after party, events after events.
I am glad to announce that I’m feeling like that 19 year old Peggy Chang again! :p

Rachie brought me and an entourage of babes to the Johnnie Walker event held at Red Dot Museum last Saturday.
It has been such a long time since I last hung out with Rachie and Michelle and I so miss them!
We have spent the craziest nights screaming out lungs out together in Phuture.
Hahahaha. I miss being irresponsible and days where I fought to stay sober enough by 4am to stumble home.
Heh! Very bad.
*Note to self: Being domesticated is good, pegs*

Anyways, I was saying how awesome this Johnnie Walker event is right?
Here are some pictures we snapped at the party!
I’m wearing this white gorgeous (and comfy though shapeless) shirtdress that I love!
Stupid Alvin Leong says it looks like PJs. Bitch. Hahaha.

Waiting for Friday!

March 8th, 2011 by sixpegs

Here is another random post to keep you guys occupied. :p
I snapped a couple pictures in office today because I wanted to share my lil work space with y’all.
I’m all decked in black today – black dress and black heels.
One can never go wrong with black!

I’ve got polaroids all around my computer screen – polaroids of people I love.
Those eyes are decoration from Halloween 2010. Heh!

blog2

My little water station.
I <3 yoga bottle from Sigg and the cup is from er.. Starbucks obviously. :p
I’m guilty. I haven’t been attending yoga lately!

blog5

The Beauty and the Beast figurine Buttons bought me.
He has bought me 4 in total already! :D

blog3

That’s me in my little black dress, curly brown hair and my pretty new bag from La Classic Style!
This bag can be a clutch or you can sling it over your shoulder too.
Small and pretty! :p

blog6

And I also have this little sign that spells out my blog URL!
This was actually the prop used in the video I made for King Kong Jane.

blog4

This band was formed in 2006 and my dear colleague Colin is the lead singer in there!
They have just launched their first official album and it’s totally awesome!

blog7

They will be touring around performing and the next stop would be for the Mosaic Music Festival at Esplanade!
19th March, Saturday!
I’ll be there to support so do head on down to support local music as well okay? :D

And just for laughs, here is the SUPER AUNTY side of me at the teaser video for KKJ’s new album.
The album is named “Waiting for Friday” so here’s me saying what I love about Fridays!

All my friends are laughing at me because of the “Freaking Famous Blogger” thing already.
Anyway, that was just a joke okay! I know I’m not freaking famous. Hahahaha!
Check out the other “Friday” videos on the King Kong Jane blog!

Puma at Blu Jaz.

March 5th, 2011 by sixpegs

Another great week is over.
This week was spent seeing people laugh, cry, scream and throw up.

I had lunch at La Nonna with my colleagues again on Thursday.
The bargain queen in me appreciates and loves the 50% off lunchtime offer at La Nonna.
After the discounts, the prices of the pasta is about the same as that from Pasta Mania.
But the pasta here is so much better compared to the clumpy noodles from Pasta Mania.

Thursday was a great day also because I got to meet up with my beautiful old friends!
I also brought Jayne, Alvin and Herwin to the Puma party held at Blu Jaz, Bali Lane.
It has been a while since I last met the trio and they’re still looking pretty fabulous!

IMG_2520-1

Me love free flow of alcohol! The only bad part was that it was a Thursday and not Friday.
Bleah!

It was the kickoff party to a series of parties Puma will be organizing.
The theme of the parties was “Over Hours Athletes” & that explains the table soccer and pingpong tables there.
My favourite after-hours activity though, will have to boozing. :p
And having awesome company is always the most important thing to having fun!
I think I’ve been deprived of good fun for too long. Haa!

Jayne is really pretty!

I crawled my way back to work on Friday without much makeup (I’d used the makeup time to snooze). Heh!
It was the release of 2010 A Level Results and I need to be at NJC to cover the event for my company.
I was actually just supposed to be there and see see look look but I decided to be kaypo and help take some pics. :p
These students… are freaking smart lor!
And it was only NJC, I cannot imagine how things are like in places like RJC and HCI.
People can get 8 distinctions lor!
Got so many subjects to study in JC one meh!
I only took 3 during my time and it almost killed me already.

The most amazing thing is when I see people crying over grades like ABBB or AABB.
Wtf man.

I also attended this little cosy gathering with Philips to try out their new headphones.
The venue was this place called the Book Club at Martin Road.
I love this place! It’s cosy and quiet, great for anyone who wants to spend some me-time with a cuppa hot chocolate.
This one is my first headphone! Thanks for the gift, Philips.
I also saw other familiar faces there like Beatrice, Esther, Ben and Randy.
