Tokyo Bust Express

A stalk of fresh sunflower greeted me the moment I stepped into Tokyo Bust Express
at City Square Mall for my first treatment with them.
From what I understand, they chose the flowers according to how their customers make them “feel” so
I guess I’m very “sunflower-ish” to them. Heh!

Before I continue, I want to thank the team at Tokyo Bust Express for their hospitality and patience
with the explanation about the common problems women have about their busts and
how the treatments can help with using all natural ingredients.
I have never thought that I would be visiting a place like Tokyo Bust Express
because my boobs never really gave me much problems because they are so puny (no pun intended).
But I would have to say the discussion with the team and seeing the BEFORE/AFTER effects of the treatment
really made me realize caring for our breasts should start early. Read the rest of this entry »

Superhero Epicness

April 18th, 2013 by sixpegs

Chicken lovers, put your hands up!
The new Zinger Double Down Max Burger is going to rock your (and my) world!!

I attended the media tasting of this larger-than-life burger and I am so blown away by how addictive it tasted!

My favourite part about this burger is that there is NO BUN!

I don’t know about you but I always eat the buns the last (I eat my burgers part by part)
just so I don’t have to force myself to eat the buns if I am already too full by the time I get to the buns.
But with this new Zinger Double Down Max,
I make sure the two chicken fillets are the first I get into my tum tum!

There was actually a similar burger in 2012, called the Zinger Double Down.
But this one takes it up another level because it has gotten bigger with an additional hash brown in the burger!

Jipaban Style Guide

April 10th, 2013 by sixpegs

I’m excited about the weekly Style Guides that are coming up on Jipaban’s website!
So other than just shopping, they now also offer great advice on how to mix-and-match your items
and tips on trends and fashion need-to-knows.
I don’t know about you but I would always look through the Lookbook available on the shopping sites I frequent.
So having the Style Guides on Jipaban is definitely going to benefit me!

The Style Guide topic changes every week and it will provide fashion tips that are applicable to everyone.
Jipaban’s Style Guides are contributions from their in-house and guests stylists!
For this week, it would be “Solo Statements” – where you will get insights on how to make statement pieces work for you.
Statement pieces in layman terms pretty much just means pieces that will immediately
grab the attention of the people looking at you.
It’s a must to at least have a few statement pieces because these are the ones
that will immediately make your outfit look more interesting.

And because Jipaban challenged me to my very own Style Guide,
I shall accept it and hopefully you will agree on the looks I’ve pulled!
Heh.

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.14

The first piece is this cute “Dracula teeth” ring in hot pink!
It feels fun and young, great for weekend gatherings with my best buddies!

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.19

This necklace comes with studs, gems and spikes – it very much represents me!
Naughty but nice. Haha!
I chose a very plain black cotton dress which I believe most of us will at least have one
and demonstrated how it can actually be very fun accessorizing a plain outfit.

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.25

If you are a beach bunny, then I think these brass accessories will suit you.
It goes very well with wooden bangles and generally anything in earth tone.

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.32

Under normal circumstances, I will not opt for a chunky bangle like this one
because I’m not very confident of putting it off.
But I’ve tried it with a few outfits and I think it will suit the glam look very well.
It should go with a simple black tee + torn and tattered jeans look too. Glam factor is 10/10!

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.37

This “very statement” statement necklace. Haha!
I love the chains and suede fabrics hanging off this necklace!
I think this is a very versatile piece that can go with a simple tube dress
or even with the most boring singlet and jeans getup.

Screen shot 2013-04-10 at AM 03.57.44

Last but definitely not the least, I am so loving this bunch of bracelets!
I always get a headache trying to match bracelets and bangles that look good together.
But with this, all problems will be solved!
I love how they can put the most contrasting materials together and still look so well.
This piece would go with any casual outfits, and can be an everyday piece –
on any day when you feel like having a lil arm swag!

If you think you can get used to reading style guides and receiving other fashion tips,
then you should now scribble on that post-it to remind yourself to check out
Jipaban’s website every Wednesday for new and informative fashion tips!

There is also this blog that I want to share for all fashion addicts!
Go on and think out of the box when it comes to dressing up!
*peace sign*

Quirky Kwerkee

February 11th, 2013 by sixpegs

Design is a dish best served cool.

Busy as a bee, I could only do my shopping online this year.
That’s the case for Chinese New Year, and also for Valentine’s Day.
But as I wallowed in self pity, I realized that there are so many cool things to get online!
And it beats walking around in the crowded malls by heaps!

Check out my latest find!
I’ve tried searching for one high and low in the malls but to no avail and VOILA!
I found it here!

DINOSAUR ONESIE! <3

I love Kwerkee so much for its interesting knick-knacks, hard-to-find design pieces and everything arty farty!
If I have a place of my own, I’d want to have everything to be from Kwerkee!

Here are some of the stuff that stole my heart!

Desktop22

The shopping was interactive too because they have a feed tab where users can see in the real time the most popular products on the site.
And as we all know, the items come in limited pieces,
so this function is really good for kiasu people like me!
Hahahaha!
Or if I feel like sharing the deals with my friends, they have the SHARE button to link us up directly to Facebook too.

I like how the pressies always come in cute eco-friendly biodegradable boxes and paper bags too -
with phrases like “Caution: May Cause Fits Of Excitement” etc.
Hahaha!

There is a lot to learn from Kwerkee for The Tiramisu Hero when it comes to packaging and naming their products.
Check out this one, the packaging is TOO CUTE!

These pops are actually giving away these suckers with every purchase until Valentine’s Day!
So if you’re too tied up with Chinese New Year and haven’t done your shopping for V-Day, you know where to go now. Heh!

A and I also did up our latest distributor for The Tiramisu Hero located at NANOS BioPolis!
We were allocated a corner by the door and we did it up with the usual doodles and stuff. Heh!
