I am Peggy Chang.

I’m not your regular rich and beautiful blogger.
I’m made of flesh and blood.
I’m not exactly a fighter, but I know I’m capable of so much more.
There are days when I fall hard on the cold, hard ground
and feel absolutely alone and helpless.
But at the back of my head, I know very well -
With each time that I managed to pick myself up,
I’ll grow stronger.

I am blessed with a great caring family and close friends in my life.
They are the ones who will always stay by me, no matter what happens.

I know I can always count on them.

There was a new addition to my family in June 2008.
This little lady can be a little mischievous at times,
but I am really glad I’ve had her in my life now.
She is a real good friend who will always sit around near me,
making sure that I’m fine.

I have grown so much in these few recent years.

Gaining experience through exposure to different things,
seeing the good and bad,
getting in and out of trouble,
and learning something from almost every one I’ve met.

The biggest lesson I’ve learnt?
- Never let anybody tell you what you can or cannot do.

I met many people who had brought joy into my life.
Offended a few people along the way too, I’m sure.
But what I’ve gained, are surreal experiences many others can only imagine.

My teenage years have been a fabulous time for me.

It is a blessing for me though,
that after having brushed shoulders with all these glamour and temptations,
I’ve still stayed pretty grounded.

I thank the people around me who had reminded me from time to time,
what are the most important things in life – those that truly matter.

Now that the wonderful young days are gone,
I’m feeling a little lost at times.
I know everyone experiences this at certain phases of their lives.
I hope I can strong enough for this.

I know I may appear a little aloof sometimes.
And it doesn’t really help with my pixie crop, tattoos and piercings.
I know I look kinda like an unfriendly dude sometimes.

But the truth is, I’m just another ordinary girl.
After you get to know me better,
you’ll soon realize that I’m only 60% sane.
Hahaha!

I can be quite a joy to hang out with, trust me.
*giggles*

I love people who are true to me.

I love good music, fashion, stars, perfumes, traveling, makeup,
marilyn monroe, scribbling, monochrome, androgyny, white roses,
good movies, dresses, candles, hugs, maliboo, feeling tipsy, family.

I yearn to love.
And I long to be loved in return.

I love blogging.

I enjoy sharing my thoughts with anyone who is interested in reading.
Joy is doubled and sorrow is halved when shared.

My blog is like a personal journal,
and it is my pleasure to share the ups and downs in my life with you.

Which camera do you use for your pictures?
I have about 6 cameras – Holga, BBF, Fujifilm Instax Polaroid, Canon Ixus 85, Canon 500D DSLR and Olympus EP1.
Most frequently used would be the last three listed. And yes, all the 6 cameras are awesome! :)

What photo software do you use to produce those collages?
Picasa. It’s free and you can easily download it online. Just do a search on it.

How do you produce those pictures with interesting fonts?
I have answered this question one million times.
And after I have shared this, I realized that everyone has been using it too.
That doesn’t really benefit me to be honest.
So I have decided that this will be a trade secret from now on. Haha! So stop asking already.
For those who already know, good for us! :p

Which schools did you go to?
I was from Boon Keng Primary School, Huamin Primary School, AMKSS, NYJC and lastly, NTU.

What brands of makeup do you use?
I don’t use products solely from one single brand so this question can be a little tricky.
But the few brands I have tried are Shu Uemura, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Lancome, MAC and many many more. Oh! Gotta love the mascaras by Maybelline. Cheap and good.

What brands of skincare do you use?
Similar to the question above, I use various brands for the different products I use.
A few brands I absolutely love and are currently using now are Chanel, Kose, SKINC and Laneige.
Still on my way to look for products suitable for me.

Where do you get your headbands?
The headbands I wear almost everyday are from Bangkok.
Got them from Khaosan Night Market, to be exact.
I have been looking for them in Singapore but I haven’t seen any similar ones yet, unfortunately.
