Whisper into my curly wurly hair.

Who can ever deny that girls just wanna look pretty and have fun all the time? :p
I went to the Whisper party organized by Nuffnang at Oosh last week and it was oh-so-fun!
Other than the other popular bloggers like Esther, Valerie and Nadia, we also met Paige Chua.
She’s gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
I look super dirty standing beside her and her porcelain-like flawless skin. :)
And my seriously charred and red skin isn’t helping at all. Bleah.

I love the girl whose body regenerates itself.

February 24th, 2011 by sixpegs

I am crazy.
Recently, I think I just totally sabotaged my own whitening skincare regime.
There are times when I am obsessed with whitening products.
And for times like this, I crave to look all chocolately and brown.
I went to the beach alone!

Having bottles of beer in hand is always good, wherever I am! YUM (SENG)!!!
I bought a new set of bikini from River Island because it was an impromptu beach trip and I didn’t have my stuff.
I love doing impromptu stuff.
Don’t need to plan much, just gather whatever I have and GO!

Some marathons end at 6am.

February 23rd, 2011 by sixpegs

I did a photoshoot for the Puma Lookbook last month and the photos are finally out!
I had to pinch my hands hard to stop myself from posting pictures of the shoot before the magazine is out!
Wouldn’t want to spoil the fun by putting photos up even before the Lookbook is ready. :p

The shoot was done by personalities from all walks of life.
There were singers, radio DJs, Club DJs, stylists, actors and of course us bloggers!
Basically these are just young and fun people who enjoy night life (doing healthy things of course).

They have got very interesting taglines that inspired the various looks for their collections:
Scoring Leads to Scoring
Some Marathons End at 6am
Swapping Partners is Encouraged
Here’s to 5am cabs not 5am runs
Sometimes Victory is A Phone Number
Here’s to the After Hours Athletes

The Lookbook is available with this month’s issue of Style Magazine.
I’ve conveniently scanned in the photos for you to see here. Hahahaha!
So helpful right? :p

Olay your way to look forever young!

And so, we all know that it’s not possible to be forever young.
No matter how hard you try, those crow’s feet and expression lines are gonna get to you eventually.
We can’t have our firm skin forever, but there is definitely a way to slow down the aging process.
Some of the too-widely-known secrets of preventing aging include being happy,
eating and living healthily, getting enough rest, avoiding prolonged exposure to sun, etc.
But above all these, a woman needs a really good anti-aging skincare range too!

Picture 10

The average age a woman should start an anti-aging regime is 25.
I think it’s time I get started! :x
And my first bottle of anti-aging serum was a gift from Olay.
Coincidentally, my Mom’s first bottle of anti-aging serum was from Olay too. So cute right? Haha!

And my gift, is none other than the latest Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting serum.

Picture 11

The first few signs of aging are normally fine lines around the eye area,
and slight sagging in areas around eyes, side of mouth, jaw line and neck.
And this little red bottle has been designed to directly target these areas,
firming up the skin by pure hardcore hydrating! I know, it sounds totally awesome right?

I have been rather worried about the fine lines I found around my eyes lately.
It could be due to the lack of sleep. Boo.
But since it’s rather hard to find time to get more sleep,
getting some magic potion like Olay’s Regenerist serum was totally awesome!
I’ve tried it and I love the texture, smell and feel of the serum.
It can be easily absorbed into the skin so just a teeny weeny bit would be sufficient for the entire face.
This one can be used everyday and it has the HIGHEST concentration of their signature amino-peptide complex.
I don’t exactly know what that is but it sounds super protein-ish and sounds like it’s super good for the skin. :p

I’ve checked out this bottle in the pharmacies.
The price is about similar to many other good brands at around $59.
But the best thing is, you can get Olay in almost all of your neighborhood convenience stores and pharmacies! Hope you start your anti-aging regime soon too (if you’re above 25 like me. Ahem.)
