It’s time for another blog entry to showcase how we can have a happy period again.
This time round, I want to share everything I know about surviving that period!
Well there isn’t exactly anything good or bad about having your period.
Having your period means that you’re fertile and healthy,
and there is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about.
The best thing to do when you’re having your period is to stay positive despite the possible discomfort.
Have a happy period!

Here are a couple tips from me to you!

The flow is always heavier on the first few days.
So do make sure that you have a pad that is capable of taking care of you on those heavy-flow days.
I’ve tried Whisper Extra-Long Overnights and now,
I can’t live without them during the nights when I have my period.

There are many ways of preventing cramps.
Maintaining a good diet is one of the mo¬st effective ways to prevent a menstrual cramp.
Eat lots of food with potassium (like bananas) helps prevents menstrual cramps.
Alternatively, try distressing by doing mild exercise!

Milk is great for reducing cramps!
It helps restore the vitamins you might have lost.
You might have heard that cold things are not good for you when
you’re having your period but that’s not entirely true!
Well, sugary cold stuff aren’t healthy for anyone (whether you’re having your periods of not)
but cold things that contain milk like ice cream are supposed to be good for your cramps!

Toss that skinny jeans or long white maxi dress when you’re having your period.
Dressing and feeling comfortable works hand-in-hand and so,
you should totally don on your most comfortable outfit during your period days!
Avoid light colored bottoms because you don’t want to feel worried and check repeatedly throughout the day.
Wear something that you will feel confident in and be happy, girls!

You don’t want to be caught having your period without a pad in your handbag.
And even when you’re already having your period,
it’s always more hygienic to change your pads regularly to ensure you feel dry and clean.
When you feel dry and clean, you will feel happy naturally!

Have a happy period and remember – embrace that period, not resist it! :)
