I thought I just have to blog about the wonders of Photoshop. Haha!
I saw a couple ads with me in it recently, but these pictures were actually taken long ago.
I did them with photo stock companies so I pretty much got no say as to where the ads will appear.
But it’s amusing in a way, because the ads can turn out to be quite interesting sometimes.
Like the new DBS m-banking ad I saw in the papers lately. One full page!
I WISH I WAS PAID FOR THIS MAN, DAMMIT.
My hair looked really horrible back then!
Are those supposed to be sideburns? *cringe* BAD, BAD haircut.
But that’s beside the point.
When I first saw this picture, I thought they photoshopped the iPhone in.
(I was holding my old Nokia phone in this shoot, it was done back in 2008 if I remember correctly)
But when I zoomed in to take a close look, I realized that…
It’s really quite freaky. Hahahaha!
Other than that, I was also tagged with a couple pictures on Facebook by old model friend, Edric.
You might recognize him from many TVCs, he’s everywhere! :p
There’s this picture where we posed as a couple (on the bed ahem) and it was used in an HSBC printad.
Here is the original picture that was taken in 2007 -
And the outcome is still pretty decent. We’re such a cute couple. Heh!
Edric, being very efficient, found us another picture used in an printad at White Sands Mall.
This one is pretty funny, so I thought I should share it.

Photoshop truly is amazing!!!
Anyway, looking at these pictures brings back so much good-body-days-memories.
I miss my old, toned, tanned, body.
What happened to me man. (HAHAHA!)
I used to look so young and lively, much more attractive than now.
I want it back badly!
Alright, enough of basking in my long gone glory days.
Why is everyone getting better and better looking, and me getting fatter and plain?

hahaha. don’t make me emo leh! no lah that waist wasn’t photoshopped because that was a raw photo.
it was initially taken for new face that time but didn’t make it to the papers because they thought i was wearing too little.
but i think i look more healthy and sporty then sexy lor. sigh.. gone are the skinny days. hahahah.
and i totally understand why you say i look better and more likeable now. because fatter people always look friendlier. lol!!!

Wow..didn’t noe u were featured in so manu ads. I feel that the past hairstyle esp the spiky hair made u look a bit tomboyish. U look more feminine now. :)

And don’t despair, you’re not the only suffering from the effects of mid 20s syndrome. I too, am getting fat and feeling super unattractive. I know the exact way you feel Peggy.

J – I think I only charged $60 per hour that time. But I like doing stock photography because the ladies in charge that time were really nice to me. :) What’s CEE PMS session? PMS? hahahahaha. sounds totally CEE. Hee. Yes I hate engineering. bleah. good luck to you girl! :))

hahaha, yeah man totally agree to cee=pms. lol! but anyway, was talking about peer mentoring session.
i still have at least 2 more years to go (provided i don’t fail anymore mods), i really have no idea how much longer i can hold on. it’s like everytime i wanna quit, the thought of having come so far would stop me. le sigh.
anyhow, congrats on graduating! choose a job you’ll enjoy alright? don’t make the same mistake like how we did in choosing engine! (:(:(:
