This is officially the season of overspending.
I have been spending, spending, spending so much money!
I better stop if I still wanna leave the country in June! (SOBS)
But that aside, retail therapy ALWAYS works for me – whether it’s big or small purchases.
Hehehe. I bought tons of cute stuff over this one week.
And one of the cutest thing I bought has gotta be this Hello Kitty toy!
I saw it at Jayne’s Facebook at first and I fell in love with it too!
The Hello Kitty can make different faces when you press the button on its tummy.
The first thought that came to mind when I saw it was -

It comes with this adorable Travel Diary too!
Check out the other Hello Kitty toys! I wanna get a few more for my girlfriends too! :D

And as some of you who follow me on Twitter may have already known, I had a haircut!
It turned out to be what I wanted – nerdy looking.
But I have decided that though it can make me look super ‘cute’, I really can’t handle the rule-straight fringe!
So here is one picture for you to see how it looks like anyway.
I just had another haircut to snip it all off so I’m back looking like a tomboy again. (LOL)
Okay, I’m never gonna have dolly fringe again. I love short hair too much.
It can really be quite cute but when I tuck my sideburns to the back of my ears, I look horrible!
And the fringe can’t be swept to the side because they are SOOOOO straight across my forehead.
I really can’t stand wasting too much time on my hair every morning.
Sobs. Freaking wasted so much money on this haircut lor.

This week has been exceptionally busy for me.
Buying stuff, meeting friends, doing up work and stuff – and that explains the lack of blog posts!
Huge apologies to all who always check back on my website for updates.
I promise more posts next week!
I’m gonna tell you guys more about my buys! Hahaha. I’ve been spending so much money, sinful!
♥
As for this week’s 6 blogshops, sit tight and enjoy.
Lots of pretty clothes and gorgeous websites coming up just for you!

As you all may have already known, I was in Phuket over the weekend.
It was a sponsored trip by Andara Phuket Resort (thanks so much for the generosity).
The trip is totally amazing!!
As a matter of fact, amazing would be an understatement to
describe the kind of service and hospitality we received when we were there.

Up this Sunday are 6 awesome blogshops – there are returning ones, and also newly set up ones!
But the great thing is, the clothes and shoes this week are massive!
Collections are relatively huge and there are a couple pretty models too.
Other than clothes and shoes, there are iPhone accessories on sale too.
Have fun ogling and shopping! :)

I am now seated comfortably on my bed in my pretty Pool Penthouse Suite!
I’m staying at Andara Phuket Resort over the weekend and it has been TOTALLY awesome!
In fact, even AWESOME is an understatement.
This place is so incredible that Buttons & I will heave a sigh of admiration everytime we step into our suite.
But all these didn’t start without some mega drama though -
we missed our Singapore-Phuket flight on Friday. (URGH!)
It was supposed to be taking off at 8.35am but we only woke up at Buttons’ place at 7.50am.
We managed to reach the airport check-in counter just 15 mins before take off,
but we weren’t allowed to board (obviously) the plane anymore.
I WAS SO, SO, SO DISAPPOINTED AND MAD AT MYSELF!
Well fortunately, we got 2 tickets for the next flight to Phuket leaving Singapore at 8.35pm.
That’s 12 hours of time loss! 12 hours is nothing when you’re doing many other stuff,
but 12 hours in this amazing resort is DEFINITELY something.
*sigh*
Oh well, anyway.
Buttons & I have been trying our best to make up for the time loss!
And this short one day odd has been totally fabulous for us!
Here is just a shot of us taken at the Kamala Beach.
More pictures coming up when I’m back in Singapore! :)
But honestly, I SO don’t wanna go home. Mmm.. But I really miss Maliboo.
Hahaha. Alright, hope you guys are having a good weekend too. Bye!

1. He likes to ‘air guitar’ my dog, too often and too much.
2. He can be too rational and uptight sometimes. Loosen up & go with the flow sometimes, B.
3. Assumes that I am as independent/strong willed/mature/motivated as him.
4. Doesn’t sleep when he is supposed to; and sleeps too much at the times when he is expected to be awake.
5. He becomes another person when he has too much work to do. Gemini indeed.
6. Sometimes when I ask him questions, he answers me in Spanish. Cocky shittard.
7. Bad traffic drives him mad.
8. He likes to play with bodily fluids (read: bad sense of hygiene)
9. Whines too much.
10. Has a schedule so packed and crazy that I don’t know how or where to slot myself in.
But of course, there are a few hundred more reasons to explain why I am still so in love with him.
I am thankful that I met him at choir.
And I am excited about where our relationship will bring us in future.

1. I can be (and am not afraid to be) myself in front of him.
2. Because I am a very disorganized & haphazard person, he helps me a lot by being that admin bitch in my life.
3. He is not afraid to scream at me and be brutally honest when the situation calls for it.
4. My jokes and spastic facial expressions always make him laugh.
5. We both accept each others’ pasts, and we both understand that it’s the present and future that matters.
6. He taught me how to think out-of-the-box, to not settle for good enough, and to stand up for myself.
7. Nothing can ever daunt me as long as I have him with me.
8. He helps to pop my pimples and blackheads. :p
9. He would never allow himself to stay mad at me for too long.
10. Despite being such a private and introverted person, he can always make me feel loved in his own special ways.
& most importantly, he loves me and allowed me into his world.
And he earned my trust by fulfilling everything he has promised me.
Nothing and no one’s gonna bring us down, B.
And by the way, we’re gonna have so much fun in Phuket! ♥
Love you, steel.

Freaking love the new blue (dunno why the laptop made it purple) top I got from Chicmoss!
Thanks so much for the sponsor and I’m really in huge love with this top!
Anyway the ring says ‘REBEL’. Am too damn lazy to correct the orientation. :p
I have been all over the place for these last few days.
I met up with buddies Denys and Michelle for beer at Cuscaden Patio on Monday.
And also met up with Buttons’ Spanish class classmates for a drink last night.
I have to say that his classmates are really funky!
They brought us to this Spanish Club where there are lots of people dancing Salsa in there!
All I did for the entire night was just to stare at their magical happy feet as they were dancing.
Totally totally awesome!
I can never dance like that! :c
Buttons also brought me to this Tango Concert called Café de los Maestros.
I was expecting some really boring music affair,
but I was impressed when the show actually turned out to be fantastic!
The performers, except the Tango dancers, are probably all at least 55 years old.
But instead of a slow paced and sleep-inducing performance, the old fogies totally rocked it! :)
I will be jetting off to Phuket in another two days’ time.
And honestly, although it’s just Phuket, I can’t wait no more!
It has been so long that I have spent some really good quality time with Buttons.
We were all really caught up with work and this short weekend getaway is perfect for us!
Sadly, it’s my first time to Phuket and I don’t know anything about it.
I’ve only heard about Patong Beach – and I’ve also read about it being far-too-touristy.
So if there are any other good restaurants, spas, massage places that you swear by,
PUHLEESE tell me about them too! :)
I will be bringing my laptop to Phuket too. So will try to steal time to update my blog if I have the time! ;)

Buttons and I are having crazy ideas about travelling to Spain or Europe together sometime in June.
Honestly, I have dreamt so much about going to Europe.
I am so thrilled about the Europe trip idea and really hope we get to realize it! Weeee.
P.S. I received a couple crappy comments lately. Well if you always send crappy comments, you should know who you are.
My point is – I am happy now with whatever I have & I already know everything I should know.
So please be happy for me. And if you have problems doing that,
I’d really appreciate that you’d just leave me alone to seek happiness for myself. Thanks.

Super drama.
Sigh. The wife is so pretty, and willing to give him face even at this stage.
It just goes to show how supportive and understanding she is.
How come men wanna be like that huh?

Still remember this photograph of my kindergarten class?
It’s the only one I have that reminds me of my days in kindergarten.

That period of time was a really memorable one for me.
Although I didn’t live with my parents back then (I lived with my grandparents instead),
days were simple and carefree, and everything seemed fun.
Man, I miss those days!
Just 2 nights ago, I received a message on Facebook.

I am exhausted from all the drama from the last 24 hours,
but yet still very excited to share the pictures taken from The Teng Ensemble Concert just now!
So, here am I to share a couple pictures that I took from the concert earlier.

Wanting to put my swanky new camera to good use (and to practise my skills on my camera),
I offered to help Buttons and company to take pictures for their concert.
The entire event was a huge success & the photos I took didn’t make them cry,
so I’m really happy for The Teng Company, the boyfriend, and myself! Hahaha.
I didn’t manage to take any close up shots of the violinist unfortunately.
But here are the rest of the performers at the concert which took place at NUS UCC earlier this evening.

I have always loved white flowers.
White roses, white orchids and now I love these white chrysanthemums too!
They’re really gorgeous. ♥
And since no one buys flowers for me anyway, I decided to buy some to make myself happy.
Look at them, they’re so lovely!

Dinner with the girlfriends finally happened today. *grins*
Big thanks to Lianie for organizing.
It is always great meeting up with these ladies – chilling over drinks and catching up over dinner.
It really takes a lot of effort to keep up with our friendships,
especially when they are all busy working and got a lot other commitments in their lives.
But I’m really glad we’re all still so in love with each other! Hahaha!

We had dinner at Marmalade Pantry at ION.
Lianie and Aiyolove wanted Japanese food (again!) but Sinsin & me were too lazy and tired to walk,
so we settled for this instead.
I love those yellow chrysanthemums on each and every table! ♥
