I hope all of you had a great Christmas celebration.
To be honest, I love and hate this time of the year.
It’s great because we all get to gather with friends, snuggle up and have fun talking and sharing.
And I hate it because a new year is going to begin, and I’m always daunted by new beginnings.

No one can stop the flow of time though, so we can only try to embrace every single moment.
For this Christmas, I enjoyed the company of my dearest friends and Maliboo.
We all gathered at Sinsin’s house for a nice BBQ and catch-up session.
It was simply splendid!
Buttons and I made sushi for the rest, and (fortunately) they loved the sushi! :p

That toe is super cute.
Hehehe!
It’s totally coincidental that we’re all in red shoes – good friends indeed!
This is the first Christmas I’m spending with Buttons.
Christmas really makes me feel all warm and fluffy.
If only everyday is like that.
That aside, I wanna share something funny with you guys.
That day I was talking to Buttons and I asked him if there is any Christmas songs he knew how to sing.
And to our astonishment, both of us only know how to sing Christmas songs in parts,
none of us know how to sing the entire song.
Not even a single Christmas song!
When we were all trying in vain, Buttons sung “Jingle Bells, are you listening..”

HAHAHAHA!
That’s Jingle Bells combined with Winter Wonderland!
WTF MAN.

We visited his colleague’s place on Boxing Day for a Christmas lunch.
The food was fabulous!
And to give my lovely Oxford flats some loving, I wore it out on Boxing Day.
Damn. I love these shoes!

The Christmas present from Buttons this year really warmed my heart.
If you read my blog long enough, I guess you’ve read the entry where
I blogged about the musical boxes he has given me.
And this Christmas, he gave me this GORGEOUS musical box with pretty figurines inside.
It plays Memories from Les Miserables when the lid is up, beautiful!

The new year is beginning and to be honest, I’m not exactly looking forward to it.
But I hope the coming Year 2010 will be a fantastic year for all of you out there.
