Sausages are the best.

I saw this very interesting thing couple days ago on my friend’s facebook,
so I decided to share it with my fellow blog readers.
It says,

Winner winner, Chicken Dinner.

June 27th, 2009 by sixpegs

It has been almost a week since we came back from UK.
& for Buttons and myself,
it’s mostly eating non stop at our favourite eating places.
For instance, we’ve had chicken rice at Boon Tong Kee three times so far!
HAHAHAHA!
I know, we’re totally insane! :p

I accompanied Buttons to Flare at National Museum yesterday.
It’s the showcase of short films done by the graduating ADM Film Majors.
Buttons wrote the music for 3 of the short films showcased last night.

Awesome, baby! :)

But I’ve never liked socializing & stuff, especially when it’s not even my kind of event.
I barely knew anyone from the event last night!
But fortunately I saw Ding An & it was good to have his company
while Buttons got busy meeting people & stuff.

& you also must

I'm high but I'm grounded.

June 24th, 2009 by sixpegs

Hello everybody, I’m finally back!

The ten days UK trip has been a great experience for me.
From the very first minute to the last – awesome!
For one, it’s my first time on the plane alone.
Ahem, I’m finally big girl now.

HAHAHAHA!

Here are some of the pictures that I haven’t posted in the previous entries.
Quite a handful of them, plus some new ones from the last few days.
Hope you’ll love them!

?

The journey back was quite bad though.
I got a seat next to this really really REALLY fat African guy.
& I think he took up like 1/5 of my seat as well.
When the person in front of him reclined his seat,
this guy cannot even extend his folded table!
You can IMAGINE how HUGE he is!
Oh well, but I think I lied on his arm when I fell asleep.
(quite comfortable)
HAHAHAHA!
& I think the ticket back sort of gave me a hint that the trip is going to be a torturous one already.
Look at my board pass! It says PMS!
LOL.

IMG_4595-1

The trip has been fantastic.
So good that it has made me withdraw almost all my fortune from my bank account.
So the balance is like super unhealthy now.
HAHAHA!
I better make more money now!

ROAR.

Sunday Advertorials (LATE, sorry!)

June 23rd, 2009 by sixpegs

Hello girls!
I’m sorry if some of you are already waiting for this week’s Sunday Advertorials!
I just got back from London after a long and tiring 15 hours flight,
but here it is for you anyway!

HAVE FUN!
Picture 7

Yes you’ve seen that right!

This is Itchyy Backside with 2 “y”s for that extra punch of naughtiness!

I’m loving the layout of this blogshop – everything is spick and span & absolutely perfect for an OCD like me.

Check out this blogshop’s latest collections!

Picture 3

In this collection, their star item would be this dress that can bring sexy back!

Well that explains the name of their collection, isn’t it?

I’m totally loving this one in fresh bright colors! :)

Picture 4

& if you’re not into outrageously bright colored dresses, fret not!

Itchyybackside also carries nice dainty looking dresses good enough to bring you out about town.

Picture 6

?

Next up is our very own Thee Print Shop!

Thank God for this blogshop because they update every single week to keep us all coming back,

banner

& in each week, there are different themes to satisfy girls from all walks of life.

Picture 8

Up this week, we’re seeing more feminine pieces like korean dresses, laced corsets & structured dresses just to name a few.

In each collection, there will always be a star item that will definitely be friendly for both your pocket and wardrobe!

What a steal!

Picture 9

Picture 10

Also remember to join the mailing list if you like Thee Print Shop to be updated of any news & promotions!

If you’re a crazy shopaholic, remember to show your love & support to the blog owner,

who is just another girl mad about shopping – like you!

This next website definitely has one of the prettiest layout around!

Definitely a cute name too, introducing

Still in Reading.

June 19th, 2009 by sixpegs

This entry would probably be a little too boring for most of you.
The sad thing is I haven’t been doing much of the “exciting” things here in Reading.
It is a pretty and quiet place though, & somewhat nice to stay in with Buttons.
Play frisbee, do groceries shopping etc. HAHAHA.
Yes we are feeling very domesticated. :p
I’m looking forward to the weekend in London though, I hope all the museums will turn out really awesome!

Here are some of (my favourite) feet shots while I was on my way out to town centre to meet Buttons after his classes.
Oh! New pumps from Primark!

My dearest Sinsin dear commented that the pictures from the last two entries are way too big!
So for her sake, I’ve resized the photos for this one.
I’m sorry if those pictures had caused you discomfort too! :p

IMG_4501

IMG_4512

Irritating Buttons!
I asked him for a picture and look at his stupid face.

IMG_4529

So I gave him the dissed face to show him how awful it can get.

IMG_4530

Hmm now, this is MUCH BETTER!

IMG_4531

We had English beer in one of the pubs around here in the afternoon with his music department colleague, Matt.
English beer rocks because it’s straight from a tap & it’s not fizzy at all.
Great for gulping I’d say!
But what Matt said was true too – it’s dangerous in a way, you can’t gauge when you’ve had a little too much. :p
After drinks, we headed out for a nice dinner with his two other female friends who came over to teach in Singapore in April.
One was attached to Deyi Secondary School & the other in ACJC.
Although I didn’t have much to add to all the experiences teaching here and in Singapore blah,
but I’d have to admit that it’s quite insightful and rather entertaining to watch the teachers rant about the educational systems, students, etc.
HAHAHAHAHA.

I’m loving my

Castles. Dinners. Boomerangs.

June 17th, 2009 by sixpegs

The days in UK has been awesome since the last time I blogged.
We visited Windsor castle, one of the oldest castle around, yesterday.
It’s really beautiful & what I liked most about it would be the Doll’s House – really exquisite & gorgeous!
The architecture of the castle was awesome beyond words!

Button’s colleague here brought us around Royal Ascot area & showed us around the districts where the rich and famous resides.
We went to check out Eton College as well, one of THE outstanding school here.
I’m not as thrilled as the rest of them (who were all teachers)though,
but I’m really amazed by how gorgeous the school buildings are here.
Why aren’t schools in Singapore made like this?

What I find most beautiful about this neighborhood though, is how all the doors are all different here.
I find them strangely attractive.

UK – after 17hours!

June 14th, 2009 by sixpegs

GREETINGS FROM UK!

After 14 horrible hours of flight & 3 lonely hours of transit at the Dubai airport, I’ve finally arrived at London yesterday afternoon.
Honestly, I still cannot really quite believe that I’m already here right now!
The feeling is totally indescribable – everything is happening way to quickly to take it all in.
But yes, I am here in UK now safe and sound & is with Buttons already.

The weather here has been really fine for these 2 days & everything is fabulous!
Buttons took the chance that it is weekend now, and brought me around quite a bit.
We visited some of the malls around Reading last afternoon & had a wonderful day trip around London earlier today.
We even took a ferry all the way to Greenwich and check out the freaking cool Royal Observatory Museum place where can actually stand on the Greenwich Meridian Line!

ZERO DEGREE LONGITUDE!

WAY COOL!

Anyway, here are just a couple pictures from our day trip around London today.
It is just a really broad overview of the bustling city, & I reckon we’ll be going back again next week.

I’m REALLY poor & can only travel pauper-style. HAHAHA.
Will make the best out of it anyway! Am sure there will be tons of fun doing it pauper style! :D

This is one of the gorgeous parks where people just laze around in the sun, Greenwich.

I went Butterfactory for the first time on Wednesday.
WOW!
Now I can really understand why everyone is swarming there.
Very interesting place I’d say, but I feel like super lao ah mah there.

HAHAHA.

Anyway, thank you Miss Michelle Goh for bringing me there.
And also Cheryl who helped us beat the super duper fuber long queue.
Love you girls lots! ?

1

I think I’ve really lost touch with all these clubbing stuff.
So I arranged to meet cousin, Desmond who is now in Singapore for vacation until September.
I think he misses Michelle very much too, so couldn’t wait but to ask her out also.

HAHAHA!

But good also lah. Because I miss her too.
We had a very good lunch and displayed ourselves as public nuisances in Bugis.

2

Desmond is really quite a character.
& can someone tell me how come everyone else has the chance to go UK (ahem) except me?

W H Y ?

Desmond left for his class gathering so Michelle & I went shopping before going for a drink.
Yes, in zouk.
But I left even before the crowd starting streaming in.
Went for ktv with my cousins and their friends.
Oh, I really love screaming into the microphone! :D

OH. & REALLY HEART MY HAIRBAND.
Especially that insane huge ribbon.
$10 from Diva, if you’re wondering.

3

Family gathering tomorrow.

Great news for me, because I’m actually desperately trying to keep myself as busy as possible when Buttons is not around.
I get all sucked into self pity and emo nemo loneliness when I’m left alone for too long.
I hope all that family gatherings will brighten up my days again!

Casio Makeup Function.

June 5th, 2009 by sixpegs

Still remember that I mentioned about Casio’s new functions built into their cameras?

Today, I’ll be sharing one of the functions I tried when I was in Vietnam! :D
It’s called the makeup function & it will totally rock your world if you’re one hardcore photoshopper!
This makeup function works like the cloning tool in Photoshop does; it blurs and smooths blemishes in a person

i love my air supply.

I know just how to whisper,
And I know just how to cry.
I know just where to find the answers.
And I know just how to lie.

I know just how to fake it,
And I know just how to scheme.
I know just when to face the truth,
And then I know just when to dream.

And I know just where to touch you,
And I know just what to prove.
I know when to pull you closer,
And I know when to let you loose.

And I know the night is fading,
And I know that time’s gonna fly.
And I’m never gonna tell you everything
I gotta to tell you,
But I know I gotta give it a try.
And I know the roads to riches,
And I know the ways to fame.
I know all the rules
And then I know how to break em’
And I always know the name of the game.

But I don’t know how to leave you,
And I’ll never let you fall.
And I don’t know how you do it,
Making love out of nothing at all
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all.

Every time I see you all the rays of the sun
Are streaming through the waves in your hair.
And every star in the sky is taking aim
At your eyes, like a spotlight.
The beating of my heart is a drum, and its lost
And it’s looking for a rhythm like you.

You can take the darkness from the pit of the night
And turn into a beacon burning endlessly bright.
I’ve got to follow it, cause everything I know,

well it’s nothing till I give it to you.

I can make the run or stumble,
I can make the final block.
And I can make every tackle, at the sound of the whistle,
I can make all the stadiums rock.
I can make tonight forever,
Or I can make it disappear by the dawn.
And I can make you every promise that has ever been made,
And I can make all the demons be gone.

But I’m never gonna make it without you,
Do you really want to see me crawl?
And I’m never gonna make it like you do,
Making love out of nothing at all.

Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all,
Out of nothing at all.

Trust.

June 2nd, 2009 by sixpegs

It is 3:33am right now & 8:33pm there in UK.
I should be sleeping right now, but i’m not.
Buttons is having a nap over in UK though, at 8:33pm.

What is wrong with us? Haha.

Anyway, I just had a very interesting conversation with my cousin & Michelle online earlier.
As a matter of fact, I’m still feeling intrigued by what was discussed.
Looks like the issues between the sexes will never be ironed out, no matter how long.
The whole little debate started off because of one statement I made – “I generally don’t trust men.”

Honestly, I really have a problem when it comes to trusting people.
Men in particular.
Because I’ve seen too many fucked up men, and heard too many horrifying stories.

Of course, I cannot refute the fact that there are many fucked up women around too.
Growing up & being exposed to the fact that such things actually do happen,
and to know that such people actually exist is such an eye opener for me.

I have seen people two timing.
Heard of horrible stories about how girlfriends realized that their boyfriends have been visiting prostitutes.
Read about men who share their intimate sexual experiences (or photos!) online with strangers.
& I know of attached men who have fuck buddies.
Of course, I have to say again – that all these includes women too.

Inevitably, all these has probably made “TRUST” a harder thing to earn.

We all know that the whole guy-girl thing is based on trust, isn’t it?
Even my Primary 6 cousin can tell me that there is no point maintaining a relationship if there is no trust.

So what is trust?

I posed this question on facebook a couple days ago & someone said,
“Trust is the amber between red and green”
That actually makes a lot of sense to me.
But I know too, that it takes years to build up trust and only seconds to destroy it.
So I guess it’s much easier for the amber to flicker to the red side.

Oh well, I’m just ranting.
Nothing to do with Buttons, just in case if you’re wondering.
I miss Buttons & I love him.
And it definitely takes more than random rumours from random jealous bitches to get us down.
(I hope you get the drift)

Goodnight.

I really hate to admit this – but I’m getting a little jealous.
He has been hanging out with this stressball more than me!
But seeing how Tommy sits proudly all around UK, it makes me really happy too.
It’s as if a part of me is travelling with him -
Because I’m sure he will be reminded of me everytime he whips Tommy out from his pocket! :)

The next blogshop up this Sunday has got a really cute name – Gossip Parlour.
Well, I don’t know about you but this website is sure attractive to me!
Majority of their apparels were all brought in from overseas.
Say HELLO to exclusitivity at Gossip Parlour, comrades!

The model look really cute too!

I am so in love with this green dress!

The third blogshop featured this Sunday is something that delivers more simple apparels.
Delilah Muse has a website with a great layout which makes shopping oh-so-easy!

Delilah Muse is now having their very very first collection!
And with that, there will be a 30% off sale for it’s first relaunch collection in line with the GSS!

Unlike many other blogshops, Delilah Muse don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all policy.

They have spent many hours looking for clothes that come in multiple sizes to provide the best fit!

Delilah Muse would also like to offer all sixpegs readers an additional 10% off the invoice total if they use the discount code “SIXPEGS”.

OH HOW WE LOVE DELILAH MUSE!

?

Last but not least, here is the final blogspot featured this Sunday night.
My cousin has launched her very own blogshop called lustmonday!

They called themselves lustmonday because this blogshop will have a collection EVERY monday!

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I have been roped in to help do the styling doing the photoshoots.
& also the marketing for the shop, erm & modelling too!

So I shall let the pictures do the talking!

The number cards held by the models is inspired by one of the 50 Gorgeous People photoshoot couple years ago.

And I’m totally loving it! :D

Freaking love this top!

So that’s all for you this Sunday night!

Happy shopping my girls.
