3003? SO FAST!

March 30th, 2009 by sixpegs

I did a Les Sports Sac Fashion Show on Friday night.
It was their 35th anniversary celebration! ;)

The new range is really, really cute!
I cannot say much about the older collections though (HEHE)
But the designs for the new collection is SOOO CUTE!

I thought I didn’t bring my camera,
so these pictures are taken using my phone.
The quality really kind of sucks.
And the models had really scary makeups.

We were all saying that we look like bah poks.

And here are a couple I stole off other people’s albums on Facebook!
HAHAHA.
I know right, I’m so sneaky.
It’s all for you guys man! LOL.

Here’s Sarah who opened the show.
She’s FREAKING TALL!
182cm, I think.

And other familiar faces like Alvin, Jayne and Anna too.

And there was another Bah Pok who went shopping too.
Check it out!

I met up with Benjamin in town for lunch again last week too.
He has been busy composing for two short films – Threshold and Cravings.
But we managed to steal some time from writing (& mugging) fora good lunch.

And there we are playing around with my camera again.
LOL.
I’m looking more and more like a ghost lately.
Nobody will ever love me again.

ANYWAY,
I REALLY LOVE this Thai Food place near NAFA.
The food is good and CHEAP!

It’s at Sunshine Plaza.
And if I’m not wrong, it’s just simply called Thai Cafe.
If you’re ever there, you gotta try the Yum Voon Seng.
OMG. I love it.
At this moment when I’m writing this, I AM SALIVATING!

:D”"”

And most exciting thing about this post.

TADAH!

Dearest Jason Yeo is back on vacation from Maldives!
Oh boy, I missed him.
I didn’t manage to find time to meet him the last time he came back.
But am really glad that I got to see him this time round.
According to him, he lost weight

But the moment he saw me,
HE SAID THAT I PUT ON WEIGHT.

(T_T)

I’m freaking emo.
I know it’s true though.
What’s going on. BOOOOHOOOOOO!!!
Nobody wants me anymore already lah!

Jason is looking good though.
It must be the nourishment from love.
*giggles*

I bought those stupid looking Harry Potter speckies!
CUTE? :D
Now I finally know what I spend all my money on – TOYS!
And (whispers) food…

:(

And look at this other toy I bought. CUTE?
Hurhurhur!
I love that teeny bitsy bikini she’s wearing.
SO ADORABLE!

Alright, end of story.
Back to the reality of my h o r r i b l e life.

OH HOW I ADORE THEE.

GROSS!

March 25th, 2009 by sixpegs

I wonder if you guys saw this article about this “Singapore Edison Chen” shit.
I’m not exactly very well informed about such things,
but when I read about this, I was appalled!

It’s so gross!
Firstly, don’t even compare him to Edison Chen.
I’m sure he’s like freaking gross looking.
Secondly, Edison Chen didn’t go post his videos all over the net.

There’s really something wrong with this exhibitionist.

You know what?
You should really check this blog out.

GARYSCREWSANYBODYNG

This Gary Ng guy screws all kinds of women.
Young or old. Perky or saggy.

He screwed this pair of mother and daughter.
And he even screwed his own cousin!
He screwed some random BEER AUNTY!

(OMG.)

“Was at a coffeeshop near my home to eat my late dinner or supper…
Eating halfway, a beer promoter auntie came walking to me
& ask me to support her 1 bottle of beer.
I agreed & soon she came sitting with me to drink
& told me i’m her last customer.
So after we finish it, she can go home.

She was chatting & drinking with me.
Got to know she was staying near my place, so i offer to drive her back.
In my car, i was asking her about her family…
She told me she was divorce for 5 years already.
So i ask her ” wow, then u don’t need sex mehz?”.
She replied “need lah, which lady don’t need.”
So i said ” think your pussy got stuck already,
need someone to pump for already.”

She replied “i will let someone to pump me if anyone will like to……”

So i ask to drive to hotel nearby for pumping session & she was fine with that..
Don’t ask me again why auntie i also want.

Firstly because, i wanted to try all things in my life,
don’t wanna live for nothing.
Secondly, i think all ladies deserve to be love & pamper.
I’m just playing my part for what god had given to us.
Also, if both party are willingly, why not? “

Why are these girls so stupid?
Some even covered their faces with t-shirts in the clips.
My goodness.

FUCK LAH.
I hope his dick rots!

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DISGUSTING BASTARDS MEN IN THIS WORLD?!

Woof Woof. Meow.

A big thank you to the organizers of the Juicy Couture Doggie Walk,
now I’ve got a nice picture of Booly and myself!
I was still having that mushroom head in here.

She looks so adorable in here!
(^_^)

And of course the rest of the dog walkers.
What a cute sight! :*)
Cotton looks so cute in this picture! Lazing around before us!
Maliboo is always all over the place.
Checking out other dogs, and when they want to play with her,
SHE BARKS AT THEM!
Incorrigible. Hahaha.

I managed to do a little bit of work today.
Hopefully the momentum will pick up really soon.
Really not much time to waste already.
The exams will be there in less than one week!
My goodness. I’m really feeling the heat.
I wish I can be more motivated.
Focus focus focus focus focus focus.

It’s the Le Sports Sac 35th Anniversary soon,
and they will be celebrating their birthday in Zouk this Friday!
I’ll be helping Douglas with their fashion show too.
It has been a freaking LONG time since I did shows.
I’m seriously getting (too chubby) and rusty.
Hope I don’t punch a hole through the runway floor.
We’ll be dressed by Moschino by the way.
Couple of my friends like Alvin, Jayne and Anna will be involved too.
Remember to drop by if you want some booze and chicks-gawking.

Okay, that’s all.
Goodnight.

It’s so good to be young.

The Teng Company

March 21st, 2009 by sixpegs

I believe you’ve met my friend, Benjamin by now.
But there are so many other things to find out about this young man!
HAHAHA!
(I hope he doesn’t kill me after reading this)

Other than playing the guitar and Chinese instrument ? very well,
Ben is also a heart throb teacher in this neighborhood secondary school
where he’s doing his practicum in now.

If you are the same as me – got no freaking idea what a ? is,
VERY WELL!
Watch this!

What a talented man!
Young and as handsome as Wilbur Pan!
But hold on tight to your seats ladies.
This guy is still in the market! :D”
Interested parties please email you resumes to iwanttodatebenlim@gmail.com!
HAHAHAHAHA.

Check out his personal geeky website HERE to find out his achievements,
and gawk at his geeky pictures (and geeky jokes).

Well, I really don’t know much about Chinese music.
But after Benjamin’s short introduction about the company he’s with,
I thought it’s rather interesting and I’d love to share it with you girls.
If you have events that requires
outstanding, young, good looking and award winning Chinese instrumental musicians,
you’ll know where to go look for them!

:D

“The Teng Company is a collective of visionary and award-winning
Singaporean Chinese instrumentalists that have come together
to promote and provide for the outreach,
education and awareness of Chinese instrumental music to the world.
The word ‘TENG’, ancient Chinese script for an inconceivable sound,
similar to that of a drum,
is the most complex word in the modern Chinese dictionary used today.
The company’s logo is hence, the calligraphic structure of the word itself.”

I’ve seen clips of The Teng Company Ensemble’s performances at various events.
It’s great to have them perform at events
where you want to add a nice oriental feel through the use of Chinese instrumental music.
Imagine cocktail parties, Dinner and Dance receptions, or even at your wedding!

Visit their gorgeous website HERE to watch the performances
and to find out more about these amazing performers!

Went to school, had a fitting in the evening, met up with friends.
Simple but fabulous way to spend my Thursday! :DI met up with my girlfriends today!
It was such a great time.
I think we almost spent the whole evening laughing non stop.
HAHA!
I love them so much!

Sadly, there are no pictures from our dinner session!
(except for that picture of the Tabasco sauce)
Rossie will be leaving for Shanghai this Saturday.

All the best honey! Have lots of fun there with Brother Roy! :)

Also met up with Benjamin for coffee.
I forced him to camwhore with me.
MUAHAHAHAHA!
I love hanging out with him!
He’s so frigging funny.
Oh ya I had a haircut again.
Cannot take that cute shit hairstyle no more.Okay, I’m going to study REALLY hard tomorrow!
Goodnight! :D

i (screw you stupid) model (agencies).

March 19th, 2009 by sixpegs

I totally want to rant!

As I was walking along Orchard Road just now.
I want approached by this so-called “modelling agency” called i-something-models.

And I was approached THREE BLOODY TIMES!

The first guy is a 30 something, short and stout guy
who sounded like he’s from Indonesia.
The second, a chubby local guy who looks like he’s in need a good bath badly.
The third, a Philipino woman who looks like she sneaked out
from her employer’s house halfway while cooking for the kids.

But something which is constant among them is that
they all looked too ugly and unconvincing to be talent scouts for an agency they claimed to be doing really well.
And they obviously need wardrobe overhauls too.

They are bloody irritating and persistent!

The first guy is lucky because he was the first to approach me.
I totally blew my top at the poor Philipino woman.
I didn’t mean it, really.
But it is really getting on my nerves!

I suppose the commission they get from
getting numbers from random girls should be quite high.
That’s why they are working so hard!

But one piece of advice for these agencies who probably
only live on the money they make from charging innocent and naive girls exorbitant prices for their portfolios,
YOU’VE GOT TO GET MORE CONVINCING SCOUTS MAN!
Please don’t send so many scouts out.
You might as well set up a booth along Orchard Road!

You know, whenever I meet someone new,
I’d give him all my respect.
But I’m really too mad by the time
the third persistent woman came to chat me up.
I’m terrible sorry for losing my cool!

Damn these bloody agencies man!
Please. Real agencies don’t put scouts and approach people like that.
Girls, please never fall for them.
They’re just out to make your money.

Nobody Cares.

March 17th, 2009 by sixpegs

There are so many things I want to say or do.
But I never found the courage to.

Have I really changed?

You know, I used to be a really optimistic and happy person.
Not that I am not happy anymore now,
it’s just that I don’t really have as much reasons to be happy now.
I think I am just dwelling in self pity.
Or perhaps because as I’m older, I expect more of myself.
And when I fail to get what I want, I blame myself.

My mother told me just now that I am not young anymore.
I am 24 this year.
I see other people of my age already doing well in their jobs,
carving out a career, having a stable relationship with their loved ones,
and probably doing all the right things that a 24-year-old is supposed to.
But I’m not.

I don’t blame my mother when she compares me to others.
After all, I have really been quite a disappointment these few years.
It’s painful to think about it.
And it’s even more painful to try not to think about it.

I don’t even know who I am anymore.
I’m not like the girl I used to be.
So this is what growing older is all about -
Life itself takes the life out of you.

If only I’m still 19.
Really feel ashamed of myself to be saying such things.
I cannot even learn how to cope with growing older.

Maliboo and I were part of the Juicy Couture & SPCA event in Orchard today.
We were part of the 10 teams who participated!
And it is really quite an experience – for Boo especially.
She had a lot of fun meeting new doggie friends I’m sure.
And had a good workout running about town too! :)

I was in Arab Street doing a photo shoot earlier today.
I love those random looking coffee places they have over there.
Like how all the chairs are all different,
the people at these cafes are normally really friendly people too.

The Juicy event was not really a very big scale event,
but I’m sure it has attracted a lot of Saturday shoppers
who love dogs to check out the big doggie parade!
The walkers were all dressed in simple black and pink outfits.
And there are also pretty young girls representing Juicy Couture,
giving out scent strips to the shoppers.

I also saw Jasmine, Jayne Tham’s sister there!
WAH! So unfair.
Both the sisters so pretty!

The doggie is really cute too.
Super princessy – it’s a Shih Tzu named Cotton.

Those girls with a big pink bow at the back of their skirt are those giving out scent strips!
They are really friendly. OH!
And did I mention that the perfume is SUPER PRETTY?
Here’s Maliboo looking all furry and slightly bimbotic with her pink collar and leash.
What can I say?
This isn’t really our style, isn’t it Boo?
HAHAHA!
I hope Boo manage to pull it off though.
The staff working with Juicy say Boo looks like that thing from CJ7.
(LOL)

Probably just the eyes I think.
And I saw Maggie today too.
She says that there is also a striking resemblance between Boo and I.
OH SHIT.

Does that mean I look like that CJ7 alien?!
And here’s Jamie with Buddy!
Buddy is a new Daddy. He’s looking all mighty! :D

And other few doggies who graced the event.
Check out the huge monster!
I don’t know what breed it belongs to though.
Is it some Alaskan or Siberian thing? Oh well.
IT’S JUST GODDAMN HUGE!

Princess Cotton had a bad scare, according to Jasmine.
The dog is friendly though! :)
Really nice fur!

Maliboo is TOTALLY thrashed at the end of the walk!
I’m sure she had a super good workout today.

We bagged a huge bag of goodies too!
Boo got a lot of treats from Pets Lovers’ Centre.
And I received a 50ml bottle of the new Juicy Couture perfume.
It’s really pretty! Smells great too.

The charms tied around the bottle can be removed and be worn as a chain!

It was a great event.
I wish I can take more photos though,
but I’ve got so many things to carry!
Gotta hold the little rascal too!
Hope these pictures are good enough to let you guys
have a feel of how the whole event was like! :D
TATA!

18:30 shoutouts

March 13th, 2009 by sixpegs

There were a few readers who expressed their disappointment
in view of my blog gradually becoming
an “advertorial blog” of some sort.

Honestly, sentiments exactly.

But it’s probably because there is a sudden surge of blogshops of late,
and there is now a desperate attempt
to inject some colors into my life
which is getting gradually more boring
and monotonous by the day.

I’m sitting alone in a random HK milk tea place in town now.
And sharing table with a balding guy with maroon, pink and orange striped shirt.
Apparently, he and i,
we’re the only two people who came for drinks alone.
And it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable.

I really hope that the person I’m meeting up with turn up soon!

I realized something.
I’m really quite friend-less.
It is a good thing tho,
that I still have a few girlfriends who will always stick around me.
I really don’t know what it’s gonna be like without them.

Alright.
Instead of these random grumbles,
let’s do something more interesting.

Remember that 25 Random Things that everyone’s doing on fb?
- I’ll do it now! (until my friend shows up!)

1. My English is really bad. I got C5 for English at O levels.
2. I’ve ran into flashers FOUR times my entire life!
3. I cannot swim.
4. I hate middle age men.
5. My favorite teacher is Mr Ng Zhidi. He calls me Baobei.
6. I used to like pink. But I prefer black and white now.
7. Before giving Maliboo her name, I was considering Whiskey and Martini.
8. I love eating carbs.
9. I wish I can get married on a Vespa in future.
10. I have a tailbone that is really jutting out from under my spine.
11. Sometimes, I really think I’m going to die young.
12. I like to fart loud around Maliboo so I can see her look stunned at the sound.
13. I am really a cheapskate, when it comes to certain things.
14. I want to be loved.
15. A fortune teller once told me I need to marry a divorcee, in order to be happy.
16. I always pray that #15 is not true.
17. Why is my friend taking so long?
18. The uncle beside me is acting weird. He looks like some psychic.
19. Sometimes, I really don’t know why I joined MSU.
20. First time I played softball, I got hit in my left eye.
21. I love to eat fresh steamed prawns.
22. I miss being younger.
23. Yesterday, I bought 2 bags and a pair of shoe.
24. I’m eavesdropping.
25. My friend is so late. Damn.

Can’t believe I finished all 25!
I’ll be bringing Maliboo for the Juicy Couture doggie walk tomorrow!
I hope it’ll be a fun filled day for Boo and I.
I’ll be back with more photos and updates! :)

I bought a new phone!
YIPPEE.
I think I’ll have to slog my ass off because now I’ve got a big hole in my pocket.
This is a great phone though.
Me, being a mountain tortoise,
have never used a phone with so many functions before.

So it had amazed me over and over again!

But I’m having some problems with the Live Messenger function though!
I can send messages to my friends but I cannot receive any.
:(
Anybody out there facing the same problem? HELP!
I hope it’s just something wrong with the MSN server.

I realized I haven’t posted any pictures of my new hair yet.
It is really super KUKU looking.
So here’s a couple to show you guys!
My drawing of my hairstyle a few posts ago is quite accurate right?
HAHAHAHA!
Super short fringe, V shape sideburns, shaved back.

In this collection at The Scarlette,
the girls have presented dresses what are formal enough for office,

Tell me.
Am I among the last few to catch “Marley and Me”?
It is such a tear jerker!
I have been warned by Sinsin dear,
but I’ve decided to go into the theatre armed with no tissue papers.

I went in as a stubborn girl.
And came out with smudged makeup.

It is a heartwarming show.
And Marley is so adorable despite being such a terror.
Great show to end the evening with, I’d say.
So if you’re a dog lover and want to catch the movie,
REMEMBER YOUR TISSUE PAPERS!

The show reminded me of Maliboo.
I should cherish all the time I have with her.

To me, she’s part of my world;
but to her, I am the world.

I ? YOU, AH BOO.

Ah Boo and I will be going to this cute doggie walk organized by Juicy Couture!
It is to celebrate the Launch of a new Juicy Couture Fragrance,
and also to raise funds for SPCA.
Our doggies get styled in pretty Juicy collars and leash too.

How cool!

It will be on 14th March 2009 2.30pm at Ngee Ann City.
Go check it out if you have time.
The prettiestestest Maggie Tan will also be there with her pooch, Happy!
I can wait no more! ?
I hope Boo will enjoy herself strutting down Orchard Road with me too.

I chanced upon this website with really cute cartoons.
Nataliedee
The drawings are really adorable, and funny too!
Here are a few I’ve saved,
remember to check out the website if you like them.

Oh. And I just gotten another haircut.
It was supposed to be just a trim because I wanted some bangs.
But I don’t know how it turned out to how it’s like now.
I’ve got bangs. But they are like 5cm above my eyebrows.
(T_T)

I haven’t gotten a picture of myself yet.
But in order not to keep you in suspense,
here’s a sneak peek.
(HAHAHA!)

I’ve got V-shape sideburns,
the hair on my neck is shaved,
and those on the top of my head isn’t cut at all.

In short, I look like mushroom now.
I hope you people like mushrooms.

ok. goodnight.

Falling Slowly

March 3rd, 2009 by sixpegs

Falling Slowly

I don’t know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can’t react
And games that never amount
To more than they’re meant
Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We’ve still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You’ll make it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can’t go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I’m painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It’s time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We’ve still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You’ve made it now
Falling slowly sing your melody
I’ll sing along

I watched this indie movie, Once with no expectations at all.

But I need to say that it is took my breath away.
There are a lot of nice songs in there,
and I was surprised when I found out that
they were all written by the actor Glen Hansard himself.

It is a unique love story between an Irish busker and a Czech immigrant,
falling in love through music.

I hope you guys like the song too.
:)
