What The Butler Saw

February 21st, 2009 by sixpegs

I’m honoured to be invited by Zebra Crossing Productions
to watch their latest play – What the Butler Saw.

I’m almost embarrassed to say this, but it is my first time at a play.
But after watching Butler, I’ve fallen deep in love with plays!
There is so much energy on stage and
it is just totally different from watching it off a screen.

What the Butler Saw is an award winning comedy which knits together
dysfunctional family relationships, notions of sanity and laws of attraction.
The play is set in a psychiatric clinic where Dr Ang (played by Gerald Chew)
tries to seduce his secretary-to-be, Geraldine (Elizabeth Tan).
Mayhem started when his wife (Vernetta Lopez) showed up unexpectedly.
And you can imagine the rest!
The rest of the cast includes Timothy Nga, Vadi PVSS
and also Shane Mardjuki who happens to be really hot.
Oh! Did I mention that he stripped down to his underwear at the play?

Be prepared to witness lots of undressing, bloodshots, ridiculous accents
and also Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles’ manhood kept in a white box.
The play will definitely be one that can blow you off your chair.

It will run until 22 February 2009 at the Drama Centre, National Library.
To book your ticket now, call SISTIC HOTLINE at 63485555

If you’re pondering over what to do over the weekend,
why not try “What the Butler Saw” and be wowed by the production!

Thank you Zebra Crossing Productions!
