CHRISTMAS YAY!

December 27th, 2008 by sixpegs

We had a fantastic party at Rossie’s house for Christmas!
And look at how Sindy and I start off the night with a scary game!
The girls were all scared stiff.
Try it out here!

Hotel 626

Here’s Maliboo saying a big “HELLO” to you.
This is her first Christmas party!
And I sure hope she enjoys herself too.
She has been the star of the night, mingling and PR-ing with everyone.
:D
And here’s one picture with her Mommy! :)
Look at our potluck session!
(Sorry if Lianie’s actions are a little distracting, she’s always like that!)LOL.
Anyway, it was Lianie and Andy’s 6th year anniversary.
And so glad, we’re all celebrating with them again this year!

And that’s Aiyo sitting at the dinner table.
She’s looking totally gorgeous that night.

LOVE HER HAIR! :D”

Here are all the girls at the party (with our party gears)!
Sindy, Fanny, Aiyo, Caryn, Rossie, Lianie and I.

*winks*
And everyone started acting spastic after the first proper shot.
LOL.
I’ve got chicken wing arms.
T_T
I look horrible – like Hamburglar from MacDonalds right?
Maliboo loves Hamburglar!
LOL.
I think she’s totally traumatized when we were playing with the party poppers.
She kept barking hysterically at us!
Fanny was in charge of the log cake this evening.
And she managed to get a super yummy mango flavored one from BakersInn!
*drools*
Looks really pretty with macaroons on it. Yum Yum!
And this, this one needs some explanation.
It is a tradition that Lianie and I take a picture in front of Rossie and Roy’s
wedding photo every Christmas when we head over to their place.
HAHAHA!
I was trying hard to contain my laughter while taking this picture.
Everyone else were staring at us and Rossie kept scolding us for making fun of her!
:p
And that’s me at gift exchange!
But actually that’s not the gift I got lah.
Just posing with other people’s gift. HAHA!
I got a pretty bath set from Sephora which was given by Lianie.
It makes me smell like a strawberry and the packaging is super pretty!

And a proper picture with Aiyo and Sinsin in this one!
Aiyo got very pretty cheekbones and nose hoh!
I LOVE I LOVE~

Tired Maliboo is dozing off.
Doesn’t she look gorgeous in the mini Santa’s hat? :)
I think Maliboo hates Christmas parties.
HAHAHAHA. She’s totally tired out and snored in her sleep that night!
(YES REALLY SNORING LOUDLY!)
I was out last night.
I was at St James with my pretty girlfriend by the name of Sindy See Jiaxin.
LOL!
Reached there at 11.30pm.
We wore similar dresses coincidentally so
we looked quite retarded when we walk next to each other.
But whatever. We’re still sizzling hot!
HAHAHAHA!

Here’s Sindy and Terence
And a whole lot of our pictures!
ENJOY.

Will end off with a picture of my sizzling hot girlfriend Sindy See again.
HAHA!

Merry Christmas to you.

December 23rd, 2008 by sixpegs

It has been quite a while since I last blogged.
These few days have been rather quiet and peaceful for me.
Met up with a few friends to catch up.
And I have to say that it feels really good.
I did a few photo shoots with Bonito Chico too!
So remember to check out their website for fabulous party dresses. :)
Look at the pretty studio where I did the shoot for them.
I love the tinted glass window panels, and long stairways
(just don’t ask me to climb them)

I wandered around town all alone two days in a row this week.
You must be thinking that I’m a super loner to do such things.
But I’m not okay. It’s really nice sometimes.
Great to have a book and my diary with me too.
I love scribbling random thoughts.
I bought a ticket to watch a performance at Esplanade on Sunday.
It is the first time I’m catching a performance there, and yes I know I’m freaking suaku!
I was actually quite lost in there.
No idea who to give the tickets to, don’t know where the studio is.
But well, I learnt it the hard way!
Hahahaha. It was a great performance.
So it’s all worth it.
The people at Esplanade are giving out huge inflatable rubber balls to people.
And you’re supposed to write your New Year wishes on them,
throw them into the river and let it bob up and down until 2009. :)
Gees. I don’t know about you but I thought the idea is super cute and fun.
Meaningful too, especially when all the wishes are on the balls!
The kids love it the most.
It was really nice to meet up with Peipei and Yifang over the weekend too.
So if you girls are reading this, I totally enjoyed myself.
And hope it’ll happen more frequently! :)
Monday was not blue at all with my dear Sinsin’s company!
It has been a while we spent one whole day together.
So, I’m totally loving it.
Accompanied her to do her nails, buy stuff or just to read books at the bookstore with her.
They all felt incredibly at ease and fun.
You might notice that my lips are a little red and swollen.
This is bad.
I got a cold sore after the Korea trip, and it’s taking very long to go away.
I just visited the doctor this afternoon,
and hopefully I’ll be able to spend Christmas without my “hotdog” lips.
LOL.
Anyway, we were browsing at books at Borders and chanced upon this.
And we all had to agree -
Don’t you agree too? Hahaha.
And before ending this post.
Here’s something interesting to share.
I received a cute mitten from Zouk which has fill-in-the-blank New Year resolutions.
So if you’re feeling clueless about how to start laying out your resolutions,
why not give this guide a try? :)
With this, I wish all a warm and happy Christmas.

Korea (two)

December 18th, 2008 by sixpegs

Hello!
Here are more pictures from Korea!
Mommy (with her pretty artist hat) and me (with my retarded bunny mask)
HEHE!
We took a cable car up this mountain in Seoul.
It’s really pretty! AND WINDY TOO!
The scenery is totally breath taking.
I LURVE IT.

We went to a ski resort too.
But unfortunately, I didn’t get to ski.
Well actually, I chose not to! Hee.
I went to a public bath just the night before we were supposed to ski,
AND I GOT HOOKED!
Well, there is hardly any chances I’ll be able to go to a public bath in Singapore.
And since I’m not exactly the sporty kinda person and I’m not really into ski and stuff,
MIGHT AS WELL GO PUBLIC BATH ONE MORE TIME RIGHT!

HAHAHAHA!

I don’t know about you.
My aunts feel a little uncomfortable about having to walk around,
stark naked around strangers.
But I feel totally liberated and free in there.
And not forgetting TOTALLY COMFY.
I love that feeling.
I think it’s that exhibitionist in me. LOL!

Here are some pictures at the ski place.
Mommy is willing to take silly pictures with me! Wee.

Here are all of us at the President’s House (or something)
Shit. I’m so embarrassed.
I cannot seem to remember any names of the places I visited.
HAHA!
Anyway, I wanted to take pictures with the high school students over there.
And I asked my bilingual tour guide to sound them out.
AND THEY WERE SOOOOPER HYPER AND EXCITED!!!
Really cute korean girls! :D
And they REALLY love boys. LOL!
Had a crash course on Kimchi making too!
And had a chance to try on their traditional Korean costumes.
I think I look horrible in it.
Luckily I’m not Korean!

On my last night in Seoul, I went out with my tour guide and cousin David.
It was a little mini city tour we had.
And the tour guide we had, Cola,
he was a really friendly and helpful guy as well.
He drove us in his car around the city.
And they even accompanied me to meet my Korean Couchsurf friend, Boram!
It was really exciting!
Afterall, it is my first time meeting a Couchsurfer overseas!

Here is a picture with Boram.
She is an elementary school English teacher,
and speaks fluent English (which is extremely rare among the Koreans!)
Although the meeting was short-lived,
it was really nice to meet you, Boram! :D

The one week in Korea ended in a flash.
And it’s reality time in Singapore again.
But then again, I’m really glad to be home again.
The Singapore air smells sweet! Hahaha.
The cold climate in Korea made my skin break out and feet peel like nothing.
T_T
Look!

I went a Bonitochico photo shoot at Clarke Quay again today.
And had a lonely (but delicious) Bah Kut Teh lunch in town.
BOO. I love and hate lunches alone!

Velda and the girls are really nice to me.
I get free clothes everytime I go for a shoot.
And this two are the two new outfits I got from them today.
TOTALLY ROCKS MY SOCKS.
Remember to check out their new collections okay! :D

Alright good night Singapore!

Kimchi Me (one)

December 17th, 2008 by sixpegs

Good day folks!
I’m finally back from Korea.
Sorry for disappearing for almost a week from my blog!

The Korea trip has been a fun filled one.
I tried different things and learn more about the Korean culture as well!
It is the first time I roamed around in a foreign city alone.
First time I experienced winter.
First time I met up with a Couchsurfer overseas!

Well but the down side is that Korea is REALLY cold!
Almost 0 degrees.c everyday!
It gave me really bad skin and breakouts.
T_T

Here are some pictures from the first few days in Korea!
ENJOY.
:)

That’s my mother and I at the Korea Airport.
And Raylene sitting beside her cousin, Leticia.

The place is really beautiful.
I love how the trees are all bald, and grasses all in a brown green hue.
It is really nice to travel around in a bus too.
Have I mentioned that I really love long bus rides?
But that’s only if I’m comfortably seated and the weather is nice of course.

We visited the shooting location for the famous Korean drama ???.
Seriously, there’s really nothing much there.
Plus, it’s freaking cold!
The weather is making me wanna scram and hide in the bus.
But check out what I saw in one of the toilet cubicles there -

Please BE CHOKED!
HAHAHAHA.

Here are a few snapshots with Raylene.
She’s really pretty right!
LOL. And she looks Korean!
Oh did I mention that she can speak a little Korean too?
So proud of her! :D

Here is Joey, the cute little princess :)

I love the lalangs by the roads.
Such beautiful colors.

We took a domestic flight on our first day there to fly to Jeju Island.
That place is not as cold as Seoul and in addition, it’s gorgeous!
There aren’t as many young people there,
but Jeju gives me a very relaxed and laid back feeling.
I have to apologize that I couldn’t really name the places I’ve been to.
I’m really really bad at remembering the Korean names.
But whatever, here are some of the pictures.
And a retarded candid shot of me.
HAHA!
Jeju Island got some really awesome kickass tangerines too.
YUMMY.
Plus! REALLY PRETTY FLOWERS.
Flew back to Seoul after 2 nights at Jeju Island :)
And went shopping in this ??? or something.
It was supposedly near the Women University in Seoul.
It was a pity we didn’t visit the Dongdaemun though.
I heard it’s like the Chatuchak Market in Seoul!

Here are a few pictures from Everland,
where we took lethal rides again. HAHA!
The Viking almost got me killed.

How do you like my stupid looking bunny mask?
HAHA.
We then went to a teddy bear museum which
housed teddies who are older than us!
And they got really interesting teddies who are made to look like famous people too.
Can you identify them?

(Vincent Van Gogh, Snow White, Mona Lisa, Ghandi)

(Beatles, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Creation of Adam by Michaelangelo)

More pictures from Korea to be updated tomorrow!

Meanwhile, I’m just helping a friend to raise more awareness on their blogshop.
These spendthrift *ahem* girls are trying to clear their wardrobes.
HAHAHAHA!
So clothes are all pre-loved, but prices are as low as $12!!!
Please check the Threeblindbirds out HERE!

BRRR!

December 13th, 2008 by sixpegs

Hello folks!
Greetings from Korea!
It’s getting really cold over here.
And I heard from my tour guide that it might snow tomorrow.
Wow. I hope it’ll snow! Wee~
Here are some pictures to share.
Here’s my prety cousin, Raylene and I on the streets in Seoul.

Took this one with Mommy in Jeju-do.
Jeju island is the southest part in Sout Korea.
So it’s the warmest place in the country.
There used to be a volcano in this island,
so there are a lot of farms and fields there now.
The place is really pretty! Lots of rocky terrains and flowers!
They got really nice yummy and juicy tangerines too.

This place is super windy and chilly!
But the view is really pretty.
I got no freaking idea what that place is called though.
I have problems pronouncing their road names!

There is a really cute Teddy Bear Museum I saw in Jeju Island.
There are lots of teddy bears there.
And most of them are older than us! :D
Some teddies are dressed up as famous people.
And guess who I saw?
Miss Marilyn Teddy Monroe! lol.

We visited this theme park called “Everland” in Seoul.
And I was crazy enough to take those puke-inducing rides with the kids.
LOL!
Took 2 roller coaster rides consecutively, and i made a recording again!
But it was the Viking ride which almost took my life.
The Viking is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Almost threw up after playing.
MAN, I’m getting too old for all these!

It was getting REALLY REALLY cold over there that day.
And it is making my nose hurt alot!
So cold and dry.
And look at what I bought to keep my little button mushroom nose warm.
HAHA!
Do I look like a bunny? :p

We went to Mount Sorak today.
There really isn’t anything much over there.
Temples, cable cars and probably just a really high mountain with lots of people.
And it was freezing as usual.
T_T
Here’s Mommy and I, in a motorcycle pose.
(I thought of the pose. LOL!)

Alright, more when I return.
Meanwhile, take good care!
And Huimin, thanks so much for looking after Maliboo for me!
LOVE YA’LL!

From Korea

December 10th, 2008 by sixpegs

This is the first time.
I am all alone in this cosy little internet cafe, all the way in Korea.
It is around 8 degrees.c now I think.
They’re playing nice Christmas songs here.
And it is a wonderful feeling to venture out alone in this foreign land so late at night.
It could be a little dangerous I guess.
But it feels so exciting and liberating!

It was 3 degrees.c in Seoul today morning.
And I almost got my toes frozen.
(T_T)
I’m still secretly hoping I’ll get to catch a glimpse of the snow though.
That’s if I’m lucky enough of course!

Alright. Just a little message to all the people reading this -
I’ll take care and come back with interesting stories and pictures to share.

Goodnight.

This funky name has definitely caught my attention.
http://dadigirl.livejournal.com
They carry a great variety of apparels suitable for different styles.
Rocker chick, girly two shoes or stylish babe,
you should all click on the link and check it out! :D

Here are a few of my personal favourites from the website –

Bring me away.

December 8th, 2008 by sixpegs

I am tired.
I am discontented.
I am self centered.
I am confused.
And I feel like running away.

Wake up.

December 7th, 2008 by sixpegs

Christmas is coming.
I can smell it. Hahaha.
I hear the carols being played all over the place.
And I love those sounds, because it puts me at ease.
I wonder if this Christmas is going to be good though.
Christmases either makes me feel loved, or extremely lonely.
No idea which one it’s gonna be this year round.

I’ll be leaving for Korea on Tuesday.
And truth be told, I’m not exactly looking forward to the trip at all.
In fact, I wish I didn’t have to go.
It doesn’t excite me at all.

But then again,
nothing seems to be able to excite me now.
Not even a new wall color.
Not even beautiful dresses,
a new trick my dog learnt,
not even grand parties.
I’m feeling so nonchalant about everything now.
And strangely, I’m enjoying this feeling.
If only I could be this selfishly nonchalant all the time.
Why do I have to make so many decisions?
You know me – I’ve always hated making decisions.
I’m always this timid, this inconfident, this insecured, this unsure.

I know very well that there are some things in life,
that only I can help myself.
There are not many people who can promise
that they will be there for you, always.
How many people in your life promised to be there for you all the time?
I always disappoint others.
I always let people down.
I always waste time.
I cannot even stand up for myself sometimes.

“Maybe only in that blind faith, can we only find the truth.”

Peace

December 4th, 2008 by sixpegs

That’s all the pictures I have from Zouk.
LOL.
I’m so sorry to disappoint those who are looking forward to crazy pictures.
Lianie was tired. Sindy needs to go home to mug.
And we’re all not in the mood to go all crazy.
Friday would be better, I promise!

It’s Flesh Imp’s 8th anniversary this Friday.
I wish them a great success! :)

I noticed that someone asked about Miumiu.
And you guys are probably worried about him since he’s in India.
But fortunately, he’s not in Mumbai.
And don’t worry folks, he’s safe and sound.
Thanks for all the concern!
He’ll be back earliest in January next year.
And I hope he gets to come home soon too.
It must feel terrible to be away for home for so long!

December 3rd, 2008 by sixpegs

I cannot get enough of Cinema Paradiso.
Especially that theme song by Ennio Morricone.
Always makes me feel blue.

I went for another blood donation yesterday.
And I actually almost fainted after the donation.
Was at the cafe and spilled my drink all over the place.
And had to be brought back to the beds area in a huge orange wheelchair.
SO E M B A R R A S S I N G !
I hate that cold and sweaty feeling.
And at that moment when I was weak and all alone,
it felt like shit.
I better drink more water before blood donations in future.

Sigh, it’s Wednesday today.
And I’m going Zouk again.
It has been quite some time since my last trip there though.
And I haven’t been there after the exams yet.
So I’m kinda looking forward to tonight.

Freedom is sweet

December 1st, 2008 by sixpegs

I’m sorry for disappearing for so long.
Been busy over the exams, and I’m so glad it’s all over now.
*beams with happiness*
YAY.

Had a family chalet over the last few days,
and has been a great time catching up with everyone else.
:)
I bought a new camera too – IXUS 85.
And it came just in time for the gathering.

Here’s my pretty girl -

And her dozing off in Sindy’s arm.
SO CUTE! :D

The two girls and I at the chalet.
Totally losing it before Sinsin’s new lappie!
With my cousin Raylene :)
I love my girlfriends!
Really cannot imagine how it’ll be like without them.
Life after the exams is really sweet.
I’d say it’s totally amazing.
No more worries about the papers and stuff.
Every breath of air somehow tasted sweeter than before!
Hahahaha.
Now I better think of how I can treat those haunting pimples
and dark eye rings the exams gave me!
T_T

There are a couple comments asking about the Monroe tattoo.
Here’s a picture of it.
I had to twist my back and take this one so I hope it’s not too distorted.
I’ll put another one up after I pay another visit to the tattooist aye?

Goodnight!
