Need to save up for the upcoming Hong Kong trip.
So, I worked for the Comex IT fair which took place at Suntec Convention.
That’s me on the day of rehearsal.
Dressing up at home – NEW DRESS!

I have became quite a lot fairer!
Now even my liquid foundation is too dark for my face.
But I still use it anyhow.
I guess it all is due to the religious scrubbing and cleaning.
I love that Kose toner I’m using too.

Sinsin my baby came to find me at Suntec City after my rehearsal!
She is always there for me and I love her!

I AM GOING HONG KONG!

I will be there for 5 days!
It was a totally impromptu trip and was decided when
Sinsin dear told me that she’ll be there on a flight.

I’ll be with her for two full days!
And I also got one of my sisters with me – ZZX!
HAHAHAHAHA.
It’s the first time I’m traveling overseas with only one friend.
And I’m feeling SUPER excited about it as the date draws nearer.

There are a couple things i want to set aside as objectives of this trip.
And I definitely hope that it will make the trip a more fruitful one.

MY AIMS

1) To unwind and start afresh when I get back
I’ve been feeling upset about school and the extra year in NTU for the longest time.
And to be honest, I was just crying over it 2 nights ago.
I haven’t been motivated at all.
Hopefully after the short escapade, I can bring myself to treat it like a new start.
And start going for school religiously after the breath of new air.

2) To catch up with my old friends
I’ve got a couple friends in Hong Kong whom I’ll be visiting and
I’ve always believed how meeting an old friend can brighten up one’s day.
:)
Also with me on this trip, I’ve got my besties Sinsin and ZZX.
It will definitely be a great experience to be all alone in HK with such lovely people.

3) To try walking around in a foreign land, ALONE.
I’ve wanted to try this for the longest period of time.
I want to experience that feeling of independence.
It might be no big deal to some of you.
And like Sinsin, who has been overseas a million times,
it may just sound like everyday to her.
But I want to that person wandering around, looking at the world alone!

4) Couchsurf!
I’ve been on the network for sometime and
I really hope to meet some peeps from HK and hear about their culture.
Get them to bring me to the not-so-tourist spots for some true blue Hong Kong air!

5) Shopping
Ahhhh. Now we’re finally talking.
What is a HK trip without some shopping!
I NEED SHOES!

6) Meet Andy Lau with Sinsin and rape him!
Period.

And I even felt ashamed to bring out my books to study now.

That it wasn’t exactly in my plan to be retained in school for another year.
And to make her fork out money for another year’s fees.

How am I going to continue without anyone believing in me?

I came across this forum lately.

Not all of us are girls who are just after a few hundred dollars more
to get another Gucci or Louis Vuitton bag.

What is the difference between earning money giving tuition,
and making money standing around during shows?

I guess so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone nor challenge one’s integrity,
it is a decent job.
There is no doubt, however, that the job makes the girls look like wallflowers.
But if you are characterizing all these girls as materialistic tramps
who squeeze their bosoms to show some cleavage before camera lens,
then you are probably wrong.

I know of people, particularly students, who work in shows just purely for the money.
Nothing material, nothing for the glamor (even if there really IS glamor)
Some of these girls do not even club.
I cross my heart that not all showgirls are rotten empty vessels.

Frankly, I hate working in shows too.
One thing is for sure, the skimpy outfits have to go.
Some of the clients are making the girls look trashy instead or classy.
I hate those irritating photographers from god-knows-where
who would usually appear from out of nowhere and request for a photo.
I got no fucking idea where the photos go.
(Probably pinned up at home on the “jerk-off” wall)

Standing around for hours on pencil thick heels is no easy feat at all too.

Well, what can I say?
Money makes the world go round.

To put it simply, it’s just ??.

However, I’m not exactly ashamed that I’m doing all these if you ask me.
It is clean and decent money.
And they did open my eyes to certain things too.
I think it’s no big deal and I’m making money for my own pocket.
