I love Marilyn Monroe!
I followed a friend to get his tattoo done and also took a few pictures
for my photography project.
It was totally awesome.
And extremely exciting to sit there and watch people get tattooed!
The theme of my photography project revolves around tattoos.
And I wanna give that “Miami Ink” feel but only through photographs.
Hopefully I’ll be able to deliver that!

I’ll be heading to another tattoo parlor tomorrow to snap more shots.
All these parlor-visiting sessions are making me wanna get another one soon!

hey rin, yea i was working at the IT show with SONY bravia. in those smaller showrooms so maybe you didn’t walk in. it was quite inconspicuous. haha!
fren, just go do it when you feel mad enough one day! and don’t regret it. make sure you get a design that you truly love! :) it is quite painful at certain parts of the body. esp near the ribs and navel. or hipbones. yea. good luck!

i usually nv put makeup de.. so for this social night thingy i have to find someone to make up n do hair for me.. do u haf any gd recommendation?
any salon u know that do a nice makeup n hair for you and most imptly at a reasonable price.. u oways haf show/party to attend, so im sure u haf some gd lobang..

hey blisschic, i got mine at heerens by jap and gerard and the marilyn monroe by malvin at primitive art at FEP. Acid Crue… very familiar… Is it at Peninsula? Gerard who used to be from HMV Body Decor set up his own parlor at AMK. seen his works online. seems quite good at portraits. a bit tempted to go back to him. either that or Sha from EZ tattoos. he’s my friend’s friend. met him before. v friendly, and looks v responsible and concentrated while tattooing. haha!

saptenber, i never go those social nights with my bf before. he was w his ex girlfriend when he got one at OCS. lol! but well, for makeup.. i never go out for makeup before. i did my own for my proms, etc. hair also leh. but actually makeup you can try doing it on your own la. something simple will do. can try looking through online tutorials too. You can try calling Julia Ong from School of Makeup. She is a teacher there and she did my makeup and hair for my Adidas Fashion Show ( you can scroll back in the archives and see if its nice) i will email u her number. not nice to write it here.

yea, i read about reccommendations about gerard too. plus, he lives near my area too… so, it’s convenient and saves time lol. and that he’s very gentle and good with first-timers!
any idea if he does a good script tattoo? cz from what i know, not all tattoo artists do good script tattoo.

Hi, can I chk with you what is the camera you using? Able to shoot nite shoots nice? I find all the cameras cannot able to do that…. And are you using photoshop to “glue” the photos together> Thanks!!! =)

weiliang, i’m not going to be an air stewardess already. i already have a tattoo on my wrist and i love it. besides, the next tattoo can be covered w clothes. so yea.
