GIRLFRIENDS

So here it is.
:*)There are actually a couple of girlfriends whom I am very close to.
But these 4 are my most frequent partners in crime, fun, love I’d say.
In no order of merit,
Lianie, Rossie, Shiyin and Sindy
It is quite amazing how our paths cross actually.And what is even more amazing is how we came to develop a bond so strong!
:)
There are truly the group of people I feel most comfortable with.
And now let me tell you how we met.
Alright, starting with something less bizarre.Shiyin and I were schoolmates in NYJC.
We were never in the same class before.
Not in the same CCA.
And I think we don’t even talk at all.
It started only when we both got into NTU!
Met her through some mutual friends and realised that we were from the same college!
And that was the time I found her familiar, probably saw her around in college.
:D
The first time we went out, we actually went for an interview together!
hahahaha.
And on our first date, SHE WAS LATE!

She would have been so perfect if she was not always late for our gatherings!
UHMPH!
But after some serious training, she is now (more) punctual already!
HAHAHAHAHA!
So you’re perfect now already dear!

I met Lianie through modelling jobs.
The first time I met her, I was at a casting for World Cyber Games for Samsung.
And Sindy and I met her together!
HEHE!
This is Lianie and I at the WCG Samsung event.
Her hair was still super long back then!
But she is already as crazy as now already!
LOL.
She has this amazing attraction that draws people to her.
Inevitable charm and extremely bubbly character.
Except that she can be a bit noisy
when she goes on and on with her Chinese New Year songs.
I like this girl.
She is definitely the one you can laugh and be emo with.

Rossie started off as a reader of my blog who tags super often.
And over time, I got to know about her and we began talking over msn.
It was so coincidental because her sister-in-law turned out to be my junior from AMKSS.
And we really clique even though we have never met each other before.
This is probably the most successful blind date ever!
The first time I went out with her, I KNEW I’d be going out with her more often in time!
We went for a kickass karaoke session and it was totally amazing!
hahahaha!
I didn’t know what came over me to go out with someone I barely know!
It could have been so awkward if we didn’t have any common topics when we met!

Sindy dear actually kinda knew of each others’ presence even before we met.We’ve got a lot of mutual friends and initially she struck me as that
“Damm hot girl who loves to eat chocolate hell a lot!”
I used to work for Applestiz – a label that sells chocolate coated apples.
And Sindy being a big fan of anything chocolatey,
she would come buy chocolate from me almost every time she is near the store.
Sometimes even twice a day!HAHAHAHA!
Still, we didn’t really start a conversation back then.
Because I wanted to be professional – cannot make unnecessary small talks with customers.
HAHA. KIDDING!
Then there was this local girlie forum called Flowerpod.
We were both members there la!
And I wanted to buy something from a spree,
and someone actually messaged me there saying that
she got an extra bottle of THAT THING I WANT TO BUY.
(No dear, I won’t tell them what thing it is! BWAHAHAHAHAH!)
And viola! TO MY BIGGEST SURPRISE,
that person passing me that extra bottle of something turned out to be the
DAMM HOT GIRL WHO LOVES CHOCOLATE A LOT!
:D
If you ask me, I think it’s fate!
And guess what?
We ended up selling chocolates together!
:D
Here’s Sindy and I in our aprons!
HAHAHA!
We studied together, work together, drink and puke together.
And although there might be times when I have done things that she doesn’t like,
We still stood by each other.
:)
I am glad I have her in my life.
And I feel very happy when I see that she is doing well.
ALL IN ALL,
I’m feel so blessed to have these girls in my life.
Sometimes I think the joy I get from hanging out with them surpasses everything else!

Hope we’ll still be hanging out like this until we look like this one day :

It’s amazing how our friendship grew and bloom over the past years.
Looking back,
am so glad tt we’ve came into each other’s life.
You can’t deny the fact that fate really works in miraculous ways baober!
I thank god for tt!
Cldn’t contribute to anything on ur past but I’m super confident tt we’ll definitely grow old and grey together, with sinsin aiyolove & rossie dear too!!!

i love this entry :)
it’s always nice to see how close we are with our girlfriends and the memorable times that we spent with them thus far. i always say … if i really have to choose, i would opt for my female girlies over a bf anytime.
and i think it’s incredible that u guys all come from different walks of life.. not exactly a group of friends who already know each other from say a certain class or cca. cool. :)

it’s really damn amazing how you girls met! I’ve always thought that you girls are from the same school or something, so it’s really wonderful how you can find such good girlfriends in so many different places!
