Someone actually requested for an entry just about my girlfriends,

and how I got to know all of them.
So here it is.
:*)There are actually a couple of girlfriends whom I am very close to.
But these 4 are my most frequent partners in crime, fun, love I’d say.

It is quite amazing how our paths cross actually.
And what is even more amazing is how we came to develop a bond so strong!

There are truly the group of people I feel most comfortable with.
And now let me tell you how we met.
Alright, starting with something less bizarre.Shiyin and I were schoolmates in NYJC.
We were never in the same class before.
Not in the same CCA.
And I think we don’t even talk at all.
It started only when we both got into NTU!
Met her through some mutual friends and realised that we were from the same college!
And that was the time I found her familiar, probably saw her around in college.

The first time we went out, we actually went for an interview together!
hahahaha.
And on our first date, SHE WAS LATE!

Rossie started off as a reader of my blog who tags super often.
And over time, I got to know about her and we began talking over msn.
It was so coincidental because her sister-in-law turned out to be my junior from AMKSS.
And we really clique even though we have never met each other before.
This is probably the most successful blind date ever!
The first time I went out with her, I KNEW I’d be going out with her more often in time!
We went for a kickass karaoke session and it was totally amazing!
hahahaha!
I didn’t know what came over me to go out with someone I barely know!
It could have been so awkward if we didn’t have any common topics when we met!

Sindy dear actually kinda knew of each others’ presence even before we met.
We’ve got a lot of mutual friends and initially she struck me as that
“Damm hot girl who loves to eat chocolate hell a lot!”
I used to work for Applestiz – a label that sells chocolate coated apples.
And Sindy being a big fan of anything chocolatey,
she would come buy chocolate from me almost every time she is near the store.
Sometimes even twice a day!HAHAHAHA!

Still, we didn’t really start a conversation back then.
Because I wanted to be professional – cannot make unnecessary small talks with customers.
HAHA. KIDDING!

Then there was this local girlie forum called Flowerpod.
We were both members there la!
And I wanted to buy something from a spree,
and someone actually messaged me there saying that
she got an extra bottle of THAT THING I WANT TO BUY.

(No dear, I won’t tell them what thing it is! BWAHAHAHAHAH!)

And viola! TO MY BIGGEST SURPRISE,
that person passing me that extra bottle of something turned out to be the
DAMM HOT GIRL WHO LOVES CHOCOLATE A LOT!

We ended up selling chocolates together!

I did the judging of this pageant called “Party Rendevous” on Saturday night.
They were supposed to find the perfect Rendevous girl.
And all the girls were dressed in super little material that night.I went there with Nicole and friends.
After I found out that she was one of the 4 judges that night.

Valentines Day may seem like a big deal to everyone.
Those in love think that it is the day for you to testify your affections.
Those waiting for love think that it is a day to perhaps declare your love for that someone.
Those who had just fallen out of love probably thinks it is the worst day of the year.

All in all, I think it is kinda big deal for almost everyone.

Although it wasn’t really a BIG deal for me,
I still wanna take this opportunity to declare my love for all who were around for me.
From my most beloved family,
to the one who finally remembered that I loved white roses,
to those who helped me in school work,
to those who kept me sane by talking to me when I’m bored,
to people who heard me complaint about everything and pretended to be interested,
to the most random people who had probably touched my life unknowingly.

Happy Valentines’ Day to you.

Well, alright.
I spent 75% of my Valentines Day in a studio at Kallang Place.
(If you feel that your Valentines Day was burnt, you’re def not alone!)
But the good thing is, I’m paid to spend my Valentines there.
I did a shoot for Sony.
And it was pretty interesting!
All the pictures were taken with a regular SONY camera!
On one of their features – something like a smile detector.
It only shoots when it detects a smile on the subject.
There are 15 models in total, in 15 totally different styles
and we were supposed to showcase 15 different kinds of smiles!

Cool? You bet!

I got a shock when I knew what smile I was given.
Wanna make a guess?
I was thinking something like a goofy smile, or an ecstatic one.
But nope – SEXY, SEDUCTIVE, SULTRY SMILE.hahahaha!To be totally honest, it was a little awkward during the shooting process.
Alright, the “cameraman” just need to hit a button
and the camera will shoot automatically for 6 frames whenever it detects a smile.
So the whole time when I was posing, there were at about 2 to 5 pairs of eyes looking at me.
At first I was feeling kinda freaked out.
But after I got pass my own self consciousness,
I finally got the drift.
HAHA!
They played some nice and smooth sensual music.
And I was literally swirling around, twirling my necklace, biting my lips
and peeping at the camera through my lashes.
Occasionally letting out a naughty smile.
Blatantly trying to seduce the camera aperture to go have sex with me kinda look.YES – with so many people staring at me!
I didn’t know how I prepped myself to do it so I’m quite proud of myself.
It’s like public display of suggestive affections literally.

The pictures turned out okay.
And next week, I’ll be doing the same again.
Except that this time, it’ll be filmed since it’s for TVC.
I smell disaster.
But yea, I have to say that I feel that I still got the ability to look sexy after the shoot.

Probably my favourite class this semester.
Kheng Li, my tutor, is right.
Photography class is the place for us cooped up, boring engineering students
to go revive our ability to connect with aesthetics again.
And today, we got to work in the dark room for the first time.
And actually, the dark room is not that dark after all.
It should be called the Dim Room.

I look forward to most for this semester!
I had to rush my assignment today because I didn’t have time for school
assignments at all for the last few days because of work commitments.

Well, I’m really very very new to the whole concept of
aperture size, shutter speed, focal length, ISO, etc.
The teacher told me that my pictures are slightly over exposed.
*sadness*
But nevertheless, I’m going to share with you some of the shots I took in school!

The door ensures that ABSOLUTELY NO LIGHT gets into the dark room!
So even if you wanna leave the room, you have to go through this door.
And it is SO DARK in that tiny space in the revolving door that
you cannot even see your hand stretched out!HAHA! And we used flash in there!
SUPER RETARDED.
And we look super gan cheong.
LOL!

It was such a LONG day for me!
Stayed in school until almost 9pm just to develop the films.
BUT A FRUITFUL ONE!
