i went out with miumiu yesterday.
watched “Superman” with his friends from reccos and the “reccos wives club”

well, the show itself was only SO-SO.

hey all folks, i’m feeling alright now already!
after all the tears, qualms, mucus and rage,
i’m all back to normal again.
i’m going to meet sickening miumiu later.

i always tell myself what i learnt from the bible.

my parents left me for england when i was 7 years old too.
they were gone for more than a year.
poor me.
but there is something good about this too. hahahahahaha.
i grew closer to my aunts and granny.
they were the ones who took care of me when i was much younger.
i lived with my granny at her old flat in boon keng.
my primary school is directly opposite the block i live in.
whenever it is recess time,
my aunt or granny will fetch me some chwee kway or chee cheong fan.
squeezing my lunch through the tiny grooves of the fences.

i feel lousy.

i went to work today on the MRT.
wearing a pretty tummy revealing blue polka dot top and mini mini shorts with black posh heels.

but the darn train was terrible.
it stopped at every stop for at least 3 to 5 mins.
and in between each stop, it jerked several times.
it was squeezy and humid and i didn’t have a seat.

there was one point of time when i felt really xing ku..
(it was nearing novena)
so i started squating down.
(YES! IN MY GLAM PRETTY OUTFIT)
then i saw someone getting off from his/her seat,
i CHIONG-ED to his/her seat!!!!

i’ve never displayed such extreme desperation to get a seat before!
:(
but i felt terrible. felt like puking from all the jerking and partly because i just got well.
when the train reached novena, i ran out of the train screaming, “EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME!”
i really thought i was going to puke already!
i can feel my body turning so cold.
never been so afraid before.

i sat at the platform area in novena MRT station. it was wet all over and people all over.
really hectic.
i tried calling dada but couldn’t get through his line at first.
really felt like shit in the morning.
fortunately, i called his place and got his bro to wake him up.
miumiu was about to rush down to pick me home but i decided to brace up and go to work instead!

there was this v nice lady working at that station!
she came over and asked if i was okay.
she fetched me some medicated oil and sat beside me.
even escorted me to their staff toilet and kept urging me to stay in their office and rest until i get better.

VERY NICE LADY!

i would have been puking away in novena station this morning if not for her medicated oil and care! :D

i managed to make it to work.
someone fell ill at the com asia show and karen got me to replace that sick girl.
(sick girl replacing another sick girl)

the whole world is sick man.

saw familar faces like gwen, pie ling, melissa and kimberly today!
nice meeting familiar faces! :))

suan lum is a nice place with lots of yummy food.
and i noticed that their serving portions are all very small!
NO WONDER THE THAIS ARE ALL SO SKINNY!!!!!
everytime when we have our meals, we need to order 9 portions to feed the 5 hungry people.
(that is why i grew fat)

nevertheless, the food was good.
didn’t have the time to go nice decent restaurants for meals though.
the market stalls were good enough. :)

i think i got a beer pot belly now already.

the lobby in our hotel was pretty decent.
but the rooms are a little old.
hmmm.. but still considered cosy and rather value for money. :)
the breakfast sucks though.
the CHEF IN THAT HOTEL IS GOD DAMN DOWNRIGHT RUDE!
i hope he falls down while frying eggs for one time everytime someone reads my blog! *humph*

we went for foot reflexology before we boarded the plane.

yay!
i’m back safe and sound from badly polluted bangkok.

i set off 5 days ago in the morning.
with almost-empty luggages and a clean nose with no blackheads.
met up with miu, and tgr with mom and brother,
set off on our bangkok mighty trip! :)

budget terminal is indeed budget.
period.

it was already rather late after we settled down in our hotel.
so we headed off to khao san.
the place where farangs (“foreigners” in thai) get “chopped”.
the things are rather pricey and LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of ang mos hanging around.
sell lots of food stuff many nightlife activities over there.
and my brother ate worms there.
GROSS!
the next destination was erawan shrine.
the place where the four faced buddha got wrecked up.
(according to the cabbie)
there were thai dancers over there and lots of stalls selling offerings and fresh flowers for the believers.
very near the BTS station.
so we later took the train to Mo Chit Station for Chatuchak market!!!!

Chatuchak was hotter than OVEN!

confusing, crowded, sweaty, sticky, stinky but CHEAP!

didn’t really bother to take out my camera to take pictures because it was so warm over there.

:(

blah blah blah.. the next day, we went shopping again. this time to suan lum night bazaar.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! :)

got shops and YUMMY FOOD! and CHEAP BEER!

i went out with the girls yesterday!
shiyin and rosaline!
it is the first time they met each other but they talked as if they knew each other for yrs!

actually i was on the verge of heading down to alan’s to have my fringe properly cut.
but huiling suggested that i should just leave it as it is for few days and see how things goes.

i feel old.
i ran into a friend today.
she was my best friend when i was 12.
and i totally loved her when i was much younger.
although there were times when we get jealous, we get angry about each other,
i still care alot about her.
till now, i really hope she’s doing well in life.
and i believe she is living her life to the fullest now.
with a happy family. with a stable life. living with the people she adore and cares most.
i used to lie to her once.
when we were in primary school.
and i think it was a very very very big lie.
i can never get over that lie i told her.
and i’m so sorry about everything that lie had caused.
sigh.
i guess i was young and naive and childish.
but i’m really happy to run into her today!
i love her! :D

i hope i can go back to back then.
then we’ll be back together studying again.
i’ll do anything to make our lives much much better than now.
and perhaps, i’ll treasure her even more.
