time FLIES! its the new year again. year 2006!
peggy is going to be 21 years old this year.
and a good 80% of all her friends are all going to turn 21 this year!
so year 2006 is going to be a fateful year for many of us! :D
so i reckon i’m going to enjoy this year very much.
and miu and i are saving up to go bangkok by the end of this semester!
we must must jiayou and go shop shop in bangkok!

i redecorated my room today too!
removed all the dusty postcards
and replaced them with pretty photographs in black frames!
but the wall look kinda bare still.
i must go IKEA and get more frames already.
yay. peggy loves decorating! :)

1) save money for the coming bangkok trip!
2) study hard and clear all the subjects for this coming semester!
3) replace fats with muscles!!!

i had a gathering with erica and blandina today in orchard.
it was really fun. hehehe!
had a simple dinner at cartel cineleisure followed by some usual shopping around before the real fun came in. LOL!

i cleaned up my whole room single handedly today!
i am such a housewife! hahaha..
i think i’ll make a good mummy next time. hmm..
alright, maybe not so. but i’ll surely clean my house well next time
sometimes.

i love and hate the coming new school term.
firstly, i hate school.
but school just HAS to happened no matter what.
so if everything comes quickly,
it also signifies that everything will end faster too.

secondly, i’m suddenly surrounded by this surge of impulse to mug damm hard this coming semester. although i know it is only temporary, but it is also my responsibility to study as much as possible while the feeling as still around. hahaha.

but then again, this new semester is going to be a rather lonely one.
dada is going on attachment and i won’t be able to be with him in school anymore.
i hate that.
i love going to school with shaowei the most. :(
he is my motivation to go to school.
and my only discipline master in NTU.
now that he is not around.
i can foresee myself having less motivation, and discipline.
shucks.

i promised miumiu to study hard.
and i promised myself to study hard too!
i have to clear ALLLLL the modules i’ve failed!
yesh! *grrrr*

i’m going to have another tuition student this week.
i kinda like this kind of lifestyle. haha.
at least it can keep me busy. and won’t keep clinging on to miumiu.

seeing my clean room now makes me wanna start studying! hahaha!!!

i just came back from another singing session in orchard there.
but this time, i felt terrific. :)
i think its all the encouragement that kept me going and gave me strength to go on. the applause is the best of all! hehehe.. although i will feel shy sometimes. haha!

i really love to sing, i realised.

sometimes i feel very guilty…
because similar to alot of people, i take singing to be more than a passion.

i desire to excel in it. and i’m hungry for more applause, more encouragement. but somehow, i’m so useless and inactive when it comes to going after that dream. we started at the same point. and many of them has overtaken me.
not only in singing, but also in modelling.. acting.. etc.

is it that i’m not given a good opportunity,
or is it as simple as i’m not good enough?

i always thought i should have been more proactive.
and be bolder to prove myself.
have more courage to step forward to make people look at me.
but a part of me just refuse to give in to this desire sometimes.
i’m such a bitch. hahahahahaha..

anyway!!! :)
there will be only another 2 times of performance at this singing place i’ve been talking about. then after that, another group of singers will be taking over the job because the person in charge of our group (xinxu) is going overseas for attachment.
sigh. honestly, i’m kinda disappointed. because i’m falling in love with the feeling of singing in that cold smoky place filled with smelly ah peks. haha.
although that pub place is a lousy place,
although those people sitting in there might be more interested in their drinks than us,
and even though there is no one to listen to us sing,
we will still sing.
i love this type of committment.

like even if there is only one person who yearns to hear me sing,
i’ll still sing with all my heart.
i enjoy it.
because maybe that song i sung will remind that person of someone he misses,
or somewhere he had been to before.
and i love to be part of the reminising.

i doubt there will be another chance for me to sing in public again.
if you ask me why did i not approach cafes like the ark or dreams cafe for an interview or whatsoever, actually…. i don’t know also.
but i’m actually kinda self conscious. and i don’t really have confidence! especially when i’m being put together with the professionals. those who have been singing for years.
not saying that xinxu and edwin are not pros.. lol. but they felt more like a friend. :) hehehe..

i’m going for a philips audition tomorrow at pagoda street again!
hehe. hope i make it this time. as i’ve said, i have a terrible luck when it comes to castings and auditions. lol. teehehe. and i’m so so so looking forward to mini date with sindy dear this coming friday! :D

shopped around with dada in orchard yesterday.
as orchard gets squeezier and squeezier by day.
the christmas mood gets stronger and stronger! :D

guys! christmas is coming!!!

my christmas eve party this year will be the same as last year’s.
haha.. at my mom’s friend’s home party.
i know, u think its boring right?
hell no!
perhaps because i’m like aging too rapidly,
i find it great leisure to chat with them.
haha.. sometimes i find great pleasure in chatting with my mom too!
and secondly, dada will be there too!
drinking and making merry with the obasans and kids!

and best of all, we won’t even have to spend a single cent.

dada and i are saving towards our next bangkok trip.
i’m a damm poor kid. :p
and really really have to make an effort to save up.

i ran into michelle and her mother at northpoint few days ago.
and they were holding hands. (aww.. so sweet!)
so as i was having breakfast with my mom yesterday,
i told her about it and asked why she didn’t hold mine when we were shopping or whatsoever.

then she said if i liked, she can hold it too.
hahaha.. (so mian qiang~)

but yeah, she got a little more touchy after i mentioned that.

i got a pair of disposable coloured contact lens! for fun lah~ never try before mah. :p hehe.. and i got freshlook colourblend in pure hazel! :D

although i felt weird after i wore it.. i refuse to take it out. haha.. simple because its not easy to wear it!!! grr.

i hope i still look fine like a human bean. and also thanks mia for her introduction. hee.. hope she gets well soon from her fever too! *hugs* teeheehe..

i just received my results anyway. and i passed everything! yippeee! nothing can describe how happy i am now. i was actually on probation this semester. because out of the 7 modules i took last semester, i only cleared 2. (1 was cleared after i appealed) -_-

and i managed to clear 4 cores, 2 labs and 2 tabao subjects this semester!

and a large large portion of this success goes to my miumiu who has been giving me support non stop! *muaks* one big kiss for dada! next semester must work hard too! yay.

worked at a private event at fullerton one area today. some convention for this big company called walton.
suying and cheesian (formerly from hall 2) were there too! :p
it is very nice to see them there! hee.. at least there are familiar faces around.

i finally completed the mirror i made for dada!!!
it is black with a long strand of black beads decorating its rim,
with pieces of cut up CD randomly stucked on it.
i also used white beads to painstakingly make out a word “respect”
well. this is not like the respect for missy elliot.
but to remind dada the importance of respect for his family members.
respect for me. hahaha..
respect is very important in any relationships.
always speak properly and etc.
that is also something i have to keep in mind too. :)

i just reached home from the 4 days 3 nights bintan trip!
although the whole trip is funfilled, i regret to explain that it is mostly because of the people there.
not saying that the place sucks. hahaha.. but it isn’t really like what i expect of it. :(

the trip there is quite tedious.
an hour’s ferry ride from tanah merah ferry terminal,
then a bus in which took like 20 mins.
the worse part has to be all the waiting and waiting.. (zzzzzz)
perhaps it’s because i’m dying to reach bintan, the journey there felt so much longer than the one back.
haha.
here are some pictures to show you around the journey there and the resort itself.

the 3 days there were mostly spent by the beach, and in the resort. eating, or playing board (bored) games.

the beach is a really nice place.
although i’ve never been to places like hawaii or even australia which boasts of fantastic beaches,
i really like the wide shores the bintan beach possess.
the waves there are kinda strong too.
well, at least enough to kill someone who can’t swim, (LIKE ME!)
haha.. the reccos had their near-death experiences there too.
those garang shitheads were like dashing into the waves.
recall those waves pools in singapore swim pools?
those waves are like 6 to 7 times stronger.
esp in those “danger” zones.
few of those guys said they almost got swept away. haha..
i had a taste of the salty seawater on the 2nd day.
rented few of those little body bairds they have there.
and tried pirated “surfing” haha..
it was terrifying!
i think i’m a cat my last life.
i’m terrified of water. esp open waters like beaches!
brrr!
the dashing into waves with a board is fun until one big one hit me hard
leaving me turn 360 degrees in the water.
i totally lost control of like where the ground is and all.
worse thing is, when i wanted to come up,
the fucking board hit hard on my head.
hahahaha.. tell you. i’m a cowardly piece of shit!
that is enough to freak the shit outta me!
haha~

mmm.. fun though.
the spa places there are not bad too.
those by the beach, the ambience is quite nice.
but it doesn’t really seem popular.
maybe because there are a few more mainstream ones in the resort leisure centre itself.

food is expensive there!
so we the smarties bought lots of food over there! hehehe..
unfortunately, most of them are junk food.
hotdogs..instant noodles..instantd soup..canned food..
something along that line. yea.
quite sad uh?
(that is why we went to engulf nice food right after we reached singapore mainland just now!)
hahaha.

the game is a really fun one!!

THE DRINKING GAME

*combine like 2 to 3 decks of card
*everyone in a circle or smtg. and take turns to draw cards.

if you draw..
-black ace, 2, 3, 4 or 5 —> yourself have to drink according to number shown
-red ace, 2, 3, 4 or 5 —> you APPOINT someone to drink according to number shown.
-card 6 —> the secret action card.
(discretely flash card on table and do a gesture. everyone else has to follow.
last person to do so will drink. you can keep the card after you draw it
and flash it again anytime you like)
-card 7 —> the toilet card. simple as it sounds.
can only go toilet with the card before the deck of cards finishes.
-card 8 —> the rhyme card, say a word. one by one,
everyone try to find a word tt rhymes with your word. go round and round until
one person fails to do so. (eg, ball, fall, tall, stall, nepal)
-card 9 —> the rule card. you can start a rule
(eg, only collect card with left hand, can only speak in hokkien)
anyone who breaks rule before deck finishes drinks.
-card 10 —> the listing card. give a category and everyone starts listing
(eg, list all the fruits) the one who fails drinks.
-cards K, Q, J —> nothing.

i concussed for a good 13 hours the night before.
haha… it has been long since i last had such a good night’s sleep! :D
rested for the whole day at home today. watched “the incredibles” again with my bro.
quite enjoyable to just stay at home for the entire day, lazing around.
yea. :)
got an audition to go tomorrow at pagoda street.
and rachel is off to club again. hahaha.. she asked if i’d be interested to join.
but no, MIUMIU is coming over tonight!! :D yippeeee!!~

i haven’t seen miu for almost 3 days!

i think i’ll be spending my time packing up my stuff tomorrow after i come back from the audition.

hurray!!! my bintan trip is coming soon!
although it is gg to be a low budget trip, it is gg to be a guaranteed FUNFILLED trip!

went for a shoot organised by my school’s photographic society today.
it took place at a home studio at one of the many condominiums in bukit timah area.
although it was T I R I N G,
it was quite fun lah.
(haha. like a bit mian qiang)
my main concern is : MAKE SURE THE PHOTOS TURN OUT GOOD!

if not will be like a waste of everyone’s time. haha..

today i continued making the mirror for miumiu.
as i said in a few posts ago, i wanted to make miumiu a mirror
so that he don’t have to sneak over to his granny’s room to look at the long mirror everytime after he change.

so poor thing lah!

BUT!!!!!
fuck. just now when i was nailing something into the frame,
i accidentally knocked onto the mirror and it CR A C K E D !
A R G H !

i feel like killing myself!
it was such a perfect piece until that fucking small crack appeared!
i feel soooo stupid!
URRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

i must make it even prettier to make up for that little flaw it has now!

my face can’t carry heavy makeup well. hmm.
today i heard from the makeup artist that the choice of foundation is very important.
because you have to make sure that it stay fresh for long.
i think the artist today is damm pro.
heard he is actually supposed to charge $600 for just ONE makeup for 3 persons.
but because one of the organisers know him very well, he slashed the price by half.
$600 for 3 filthy makeups!

I ALSO WANNA LEARN MAKEUP!
haha.. but seriously. its no easy job.
alot on creativity, confidence and of course SKILLS!
free lancing is even more difficult.
hermits like me wil never have enough networks to do free lancing stuff.

anyway, i was talking about the makeup thingy.
he said Bo** Sh** foundation cakes very easily.
hence, he advised us to avoid their foundation.
and on the other hand, Re* Ea*t* foundations are the best for asian skin.
looks like i should visit there and get the right stuff in future.

today he used expensive chanel 7 on us.
sorry. too expensive.
i think buy already i’ll have to feed on the foundation to stay alive.

it is my lil cuzzie bing yang’s birthday today.
made this usual sunday family gathering much more special and fun! :)
i’m sure lil yang yang had tons of fun today!
din have much time to take much photos. haha. was busy playing with the many many kids there today!

total havoc! but they’re damm cute! haha..
and i even managed to persuade miu to get leave for tomorrow.
so that he can stay on for the gathering longer.!

another night of singing performance with xinxu and michelle
although i’ve been seeing michelle in school, its the first time i really talked to her today.

she’s an angel! all sweet, gentle and nice. :)
also a NTU student. graduating though.
and her piano skills are fantastic! no no..
they’re FANTASTIC!
they are really worth all the cap locks! haha.
it was a night with all the possible screw ups you can ever think of.
not sure of key, too low a pitch, shrieks.. anything!
i think i totally suck today.
haha.. but then again. i had a great time crooning. :p

and of course, my darling miumiu came over to give me his utmost support!
he’s the bestest! :D :D
we’ll be both giving tuition tomorrow.
(i postponed mine to tomorrow from yesterday hee.)
then we’ll be heading over to suntec to collect
dada’s goodie bag for the standard chartered marathon)

time really really really flies!
it seemed like yesterday when i was at the standard chartered marathon grounds..
supporting dada as he finishes his long, torturing but yet sickeningly satisfying run.

it has been another year! :)

dada’s not going for the run on sunday though.
his twin brother (who has always been his “partner” for the runs)
is not joining this year.
and he thinks that it’s simply too great a torture to run 4 hours odd ALONE~
so he’s not going.
but going to my little baby cousins birthday party with me!

i had a fantastic wednesday!! :D
with ktv with rosaline as a great kickstart,
the fun didn’t end till next day’s morn.
hee..
it was my first mini “date” with rossie!
and she is a really nice girl to hang out with!
she got this cute kou tou chan “DUI!”
hahaa. always always say that.
we had some nice pictures taken too!

although much fun was lost after sindy and huiling’s refusal to join us!

it was great great fun.
bland, carine, michelle, rachel, dotty and me went over to double O for a drink or two first
before wanting to join fanny and her friends over at zouk.
but we didn’t manage to make it there though.

and i’m no where better.
2 shots and a pop is enough to send me to lala land.
haha..
luckily i know my limits and stopped.
and pulled through the night.
i think michelle’s blood circulation system is TOO efficient.
she gets red or warm or tipsy super fast all the time.
